With Spring in the air, the guys over at Super7 are celebrating with the release of their latest sofubi mini, the “Spring Forward” Foster! Standing at around 3″ tall, the little fella has been cast in Sparkley Spring Green soft vinyl with embedded silver glitter this time around, replete with minimal yellow and metallic silver sprays. Available through the Super7 store this Thursday, March 13th at Noon PST, the figure has been priced at just $25 plus shipping…

MAN-E-NEWS// Paul Kaiju’s Sugar Cookie Mock Bat and Unchipocalypse lotteries revealed…

It’s time to start saving your pennies and counting your lucky stars, as Paul Kaiju has just revealed not one, but two HUGE lottery sales taking place this month! First up we have the long-awaited Sugar Cookie Mock Bat… A perfect companion to 2012’s SC Boss Carrion, the beautiful figure has been cast in a hot pink soft vinyl complete with metallic green, silver and yellow sprays. Touching down on the Paul Kaiju site Sunday, March 16th, we’re also told to expect some in-store surprises on the day too… Next we have the “totally turdical” Unichipocalypse! Featuring a jaw-dropping collection of one-off Unchiman customs, these will also be offered up via the same raffle system on Sunday, March 30th… Stay tuned for details on pricing and edition size as we get closer to the dates!

Mishka‘s Greg Rivera has just revealed that the brand will once again be teaming up with Cure Toys for a new Boogie-Man colourway! Featuring the Lamour Supreme designed Mishka head and mask, the 9″ tall figure has been cast in what appears to be a black soft vinyl with green and red sprays, coming with an all-new black apron accessory decked out with bloody crimson splatters. Due to touch down exclusively at Mishka’s Tokyo store on Thursday, March 20th, pricing and edition size for the figure are still to be confirmed…

Following the huge success that was The Crawling Dead over the weekend, Toy Art Gallery have revealed that the show exclusive “Sky Blue” Autopsy Zombie Staple Baby sofubi will be touching down in-store later today! Cast in “crystal meth” clear blue soft vinyl this time around, the Miscreation Toys designed and Grody Shogun produced figure comes packed with a Breaking Bad inspired header for $125 plus shipping. Dropping alongside Miscreation’s new TAG produced Zombie necklace, expect the Sky Blue baby in the Toy Art Gallery store at around 12pm PST (4/10)…

With the hotly tipped MVH x SHB “Mutant Head Butt Attack” group show opening it’s doors at Rampage Studios this Friday, March 14th, Mutant Vinyl Hardcore‘s Rich Montanari Jr has revealed the collection of freaks that he’ll have on display! Featuring a number of straight Skull Head Butt customs (including the stunning Skull-X pictured above main), the real stand out pieces have come in the form of a whole slew of mash-ups, including Doji-San/Soto Majins, a Sam Heinous-X and even a little preview of upcoming figure Toxigon with a DX body! Running right through until Sunday, March 16th, expect any leftovers from the show to hit the Rampage store early next week…

Teased here a couple of weeks back, the Astro Boy inspired Sparrow micro-run from DuBose Art‘s Scott X3 has finally touched down in-store! Featuring a number of additional hand sculpted elements over the original Blurble design, including the iconic Tezuka character’s bolt-like hair and mounted hand jet, the 3″ tall figure has been recast in resin in-house at DuBose, with the edition of just 5 coming hand painted in acrylics by Scott X3 himself. Priced at $45 each plus shipping, the Astro Sparrows can be found right here…

MAN-E-NEWS// Nerdone’s “Clear” M.O.T.U.L.O.S sofubi playset revealed…

Following a hugely successful debut release at Wonderfestival last month (check our full report here), Nerdone has just revealed that the M.O.T.U.L.O.S sofubi playest is due to return soon in an all-new colourway! Whilst little is known about the release at present, we can confirm that the MOTU x Neclos mash-up is due to come cast in a crystal clear soft vinyl, presumably packed with the original’s awesome keshi companion and mini missile launcher accessory. Interested parties can keep track of the Nerdone IG feed here for details on the release soon- fingers crossed they’ll be a little easier to come by in the West this time!

Fresh from last week’s custom sale, Frank Mysterio has wasted no time in preparing yet another 2 micro runs of the ever popular 666 Anticristo sofubi! Featuring an unpainted “Glow Blue”, this has been joined by an all new 2.1 version of the artist’s “Zombie” paint scheme, coming cast in a standard GID soft vinyl with neon green and pink sprays. Coming packed with custom bikkuriman inspired stickers, the pair are currently up for grabs in the Frank Mysterio store right here for just $80 each plus shipping…

MAN-E-NEWS// The Tarantulas x Rampage Toys ToyCon exclusive Nibbler mash-ups revealed…

Originally teased here a couple of weeks back, The Tarantulas have just revealed their Nibbler x Rampage Toys line-up in full! Featuring a total of 5 custom Nibblers mashed up with a number of different Rampage sofubi, including the Gachapon Goblins, Cyclops Dinos and of course, the Ugly Unicorn, the quintet have been decked out in a choice selection of vintage inspired sprays and hand painted detailing. Due to be touching down exclusively at The Tarantulas’ ToyCon UK booth next month (4/12), pricing on the figures has been estimated at around £50 each… But that’s not all! Judging by Rampage Toys’ recent IG activity, it would appear that they will also be serving up a fresh batch of Nibbler customs at the event too! Details are still thin on the ground at the moment, but we’re guessing that these will similarly be limited to a run of 5 swapped part figures. Stay tuned for more info (plus details on the MASSIVE Rampage x Disarticulator booth) as soon as we get it!

BLObPUS has just revealed that a limited batch of his unpainted GoriGori sofubi are now up for grabs via a lottery! Cast in a standard green GID soft vinyl this time around, the 4″ tall 2 part figure has been priced at just 3,500yen ($34) plus shipping. Featured extensively here at Man-E-Toys over the last few weeks, Daniel Yu’s Gory Bomb and Bronco Buster resin action figures will finally be up for grabs this weekend! Kit bashed and extensively re-sculpted from a pair of vintage Hasbro wrestling figures, both come with some awesome additions; the 5.5″ Gory Bomb featuring a total of 4 points of articulation plus a swappable fist accessory (complete with foreign object for all kinds of illegal in-ring action!), and the slightly taller 6″ Bronco, coming with 3 points of articulation and a hilarious literary blow hidden on the underside of the head! Both hand cast and painted by Daniel, the pair are due to be bagged with header art from Rat King, coming signed and numbered for just $80 a piece. Touching down in the Daniel Yu store this Sunday, March 9th at 9pm EST, be sure to head over prompt to avoid disappointment as these won’t be around for long!

Brent Nolasco has just revealed a trio of one-off Blood Thirst customs for Clutter Magazine‘s upcoming Total Atomic Meltdown show! Produced by Toy Art Gallery, the 8″ tall soft vinyl figures have been painted in a mix of acrylics this time around, with the numerous rubs, washes and highlights really bringing out the sculpt’s intricate detail… Opening it’s doors at the Clutter Gallery this Saturday, March 8th, Total Atomic Meltdown is set to feature works from some of the leading artists in neo-kaiju, including Blurble, Bob Conge/Plaseebo, Candie Bolton, Cop A Squat Toys, D-LuX, Frank Mysterio, Grumble Toy, GUUMON, InstincToys, Josh Herbolsheimer, LiLjapan, Maneki Nekro, Mark Nagata of Max Toy Company, Michael Nordstrom (of Garamania), Mr. Krotpong, Nebulon5, RESTORE, Splurrt, Sunguts, Uamou, Velocitron and of course, Brent Nolasco. Already seeing a number of different colourways since their debut at NYCC back in October of last year, MAD‘s Mini MADL figures have just been revealed in a glorious white! Standing at a micro 35mm tall, the little guys have been realised straight from a 3D printer (not resin cast), coming in a highly durable, lo-res ABS plastic. Given some basic cleaning and sanding by MAD, the bagged and headed figures have been priced at just $15 each plus shipping. Teased here a couple of week back, Monster Worship has just revealed that the first painted run of Michael Skattum‘s Slime Bat will be going on sale in-store this Friday, March 7th at 9pm EST! Produced by Monster Worship, the 6″ tall, 2 part figure has been cast in a bright yellow soft vinyl this time around, with what MW describes as “bedazzled swamp thingy” style green and silver sprays. Originally debuting at Designer Con back in November of last year, Johan Ulrich over at Death Cat Toys is proud to finally present the debut online release of Lilith The First Mother! Based on a triptych-style flash design by Ulrich, the digitally sculpted figure has been produced by none other that DuBose Art, with this limited run coming cast in a gorgeous clear resin complete one off 2-tone swirls and a silky hi-gloss finish. Limited to an edition of just 6 pieces, Lilith can be found in the Death Cat Toys store right here for $80 plus shipping…

As huge fans of the Rivet Wars universe since day one, it came with great pleasure this week to find that creator Ted Terranova has teamed up with Mighty Jaxx for the series’ first ever production toy! Entitled the “Mountaineer”, the little guy stands at around 6.5cm of injection moulded PVC, featuring fully articulated joints, a “gun arm” that can be swapped out for other weaponry, plus a fully interchangeable head that can be removed and placed on future Rivet Wars vehicles. Produced in an Army Green for this first run, the figure is due to come packed on a GI Joe inspired blister backer for just $19.90 each plus shipping. Going up for preorder in the Mighty Jaxx store this Friday, March 7th at 9pm EST, supplies are said to be limited, so be sure to head over prompt to avoid disappointment!

Created as a companion to the original Mr Melty released a few weeks back, the 3″ tall mini has been cast in a fluorescent pink soft vinyl, complete with detailed brown, black and white sprays that really show off the poor state the little undead ice cream is in.
