A thought provoking look at the Western world’s increasingly consumer driven lifestyles, the money clutching idol stands at around 7″ tall, coming with a flat back and mounting hook for ~~display~~ worshipping purposes. Hand cast in a “Pseudo Cultured Marble” colourway for the initial release, each figure comes packed in a beautiful custom hand cut and burnished linocut printed box for just $45 plus shipping. Jumping on the recent influx of S.U.C.K.L.E exclusives over the past couple of weeks, Killer Bootlegs are proud to reveal their unofficial variant of the Sucklord x DKE mini series, the “S.U.C.K.Y Worms” edition! Consisting of just 1 of each of the 15 figure line-up, the run utilises the Kickstarter exclusive clear colourway, coming with a gummy-inspired rainbow of Monster Kolor sprays from KB’s Peter Goral. Packed with an authentic candy wrapper styled header, the custom mini figures will be touching down in the Killer Bootlegs store today (2/28) at Noon CST for just $20 each shipped worldwide…

MAN-E-NEWS// Plaseebo’s Zombie Baby for The Crawling Dead custom show at TAG…

Bob Conge aka Plaseebo kindly shares details of his contribution to Miscreation Toys‘ upcoming “Crawling Dead” group show at TAG, the Zombie baby! A one of a kind mash-up of a GID Autopsy Zombie Staple Baby sofubi and a hand cast resin skull from Plaseebo, the gruesome figure has been fitted with inset doll’s eyes, featuring a hand pierced body painted using a number of Monster Kolor sprays. Fitted with 2 of the artist’s signature motion activated LED units (complete with replaceable batteries), the stunning piece comes signed and dated by Plaseebo on the base… Joining over 40 other custom figures, expect to find the Zombie Baby at the Crawling Dead’s opening on Saturday, March 8th! MAN-E-NEWS// New Dojin San, Dokuro DX and Death DX figures from Mutant Vinyl Hardcore releasing tonight…

Rich Montanari Jr over at Mutant Vinyl Hardcore has just revealed that a whopping total of 3 figures will be touching down in the MVH store tonight (2/28) at 11pm EST! Featuring clear cast versions of Dojin San, Dokuro DX and Death DX, the soft vinyl figures are due to come painted both inside and out, with the addition of tinsel and bauble inserts meaning that no to figures will be alike. Coming bagged with all-new header art from Rich, pricing and edition sizes are still to be confirmed, but we’re guessing the 3 figures will come in at around $110-$135 each plus shipping…

MAN-E-NEWS// The Chauskoskis Edition Wooper Loopers…

Gary Ham has revealed that he’s teamed up with the Wooper Looper’s sculptor Chauskoskis for an all-new micro run of the highly popular sofubi! Cast in the artist’s signature lime green, the soft vinyl figure has been painted up in 2 subtly different colourways; “Watermelon”, limited to an edition of 20 and coming with yellow and dark green sprays with pink, white and black hand painted detailing, and “Scowl”, which has been limited to just 10, featuring the same as before, plus extra 3 tiered mono brow for that extra fierce look! Priced at $65 and $68 respectively, both Chauskoskis Edition Wooper Loopers will be touching down in the Gary Ham store today (2/28) at 11am PST…

MAN-E-NEWS// Daniel Yu’s Luchador Stallion resin action figure teased…

Hot off the heals of our look at Gory Bomb just a couple of weeks back, it would appear sculpting powerhouse Daniel Yu is well on the way to completing yet another must have figure, the Luchador Stallion! Whilst we can’t confirm whether the piece adopts the same custom bootleg approach as the aforementioned G’Bomb, it would definitely seem that this guy has also been modified from a vintage Hasbro wrestling figure- albeit with some rather intense re-sculpting! Drawing obvious comparisons with Ewok One’s classic Horselington vinyl, it would be a shame to see this dismissed as a copy, as Daniel has already made this hilarious design his own- and that’s without even checking the rest of the body! Presumably to be released alongside Gory Bomb as a lucha tag-team/versus pack in the near future, we suggest keeping a close eye on Daniel’s IG feed here for more news soon…

UPDATE// Since writing the post, Daniel has since posted a full reveal- and it is indeed another custom wrestler action figure! This is actually the first test pull rather than a sculpt, so we can hopefully expect the first release sometime soon…

MAN-E-NEWS// New Resin Billys and Micro Kongs from Scott Wilkowski…

Following the huge response for his entry into Blamo’s Billy Custom Show last December, resin maestro Scott Wilkowski is proud to reveal that a follow up run of “Infected” Resin Billy the Rabbits will be touching down in the TAG store this Friday, February 28th at 12pm PST! Double cast in a translucent blue resin with a skeletal Billy embedded inside, the stunning figure stands at around 7″ tall, coming with a high gloss finish that beautifully accentuates the insides. Edition size and pricing are still to be confirmed, so be sure to head over to the store at Noon prompt to avoid disappointment!

But that’s not all! Teased here way back in November, a huge batch of Scott’s Micro Kong figures will be touching down in the Giant Robot store soon! Currently only available in flesh or dark red, the awesome 1″ micros will be up for grabs in a blind bagged assortment of colours, each coming bagged and headed for just $10 each. Keep a close eye on the Giant Robot site here for word on the drop over the next week or so!

It’s been an age since we last featured any Muscle Things figures here on Man-E-Toys, so it came with great pleasure today to find that the long awaited Nitro Ball series is now in full swing, with the second figure, the awesome Freddyball now up for grabs! Based on A Nightmare on Elm Streets’ lead character Krueger, the Madballs-style figure was digitally sculpted by Muscle Things, coming cast in his “Official” White Magic stretch rubber. Currently available in 2 different colourways, a UV reactive Electric Blue and Orange Glow, the 2″ wide balls can be found in the Muscle Things store right here for just $22.50 each plus shipping…

Following the success of his “Sexy Ronald” collaboration with the Sucklord early last year, NYC based artist Wizard Skull has just revealed that he will be unleashing an all-new toy soon, proudly presenting Buff Slimer! Details on the release are still pretty thin on the ground at the moment, but it appears that the figure will be taking on the form of a custom bootleg M.U.S.C.L.E mini as part of a new upcoming zine/toy combo release (of which the above picture has been taken from). With their green thumbs lying dormant all winter, the guys over at Super7 are excited to get back into the garden and plant some seeds… and possibly cultivate a new “Spring Green” Pocket Rose Vampire or 2! Whilst we’re still to see any shots of the new micro sofubi, we’re told that the latest Rose Vampire is set to come cast in a beautiful green glitter soft vinyl complete with dark green petals and metallic blue leaves. MAN-E-NEWS// Eerie Eric WIP custom Cheap Toy from Nolan JP…

Creator of last year’s incredible custom Split Kit figure, Nolan JP has just revealed that he’s hard at work on yet another unofficial GPK Cheap Toy, this time taking on Series 3 character Eerie Eric! Inspired by John Pounds’ original penciling of the character rather than the finished Garbage Pail Kids card design (both pictured below), the already stunning looking mini is currently in the final stages of clay sculpting before it hits the wax for extra detailing and refinements. Presumably due to be cast up in rubber at the Muscle Things studio at some point in the near future, be sure to keep a close eye on Nolan’s newly created IG account right here for regular updates…

After a brief hiatus from the scene, The Mark Ultra is proud to present the first 2 of a whole heap of new figures that’ll be coming over the next couple of months- the Church Agent and Panza SNC robot! Fitting nicely into The Mark Ultra’s ever growing universe of space freaks, the pair have been bootlegged from a variety of 3.75″ action figures and found objects, each coming with full articulation, and in the Church Agent’s instance, a fully removable blaster too. Debuting in 2 different colourways, “Death Squad” black and “Desert Recon” brown, the pair will be touching down in The Mark Ultra store this Thursday, February 27th at 8pm EST, coming bagged and headed for just $20 each… Stay tuned for news on more figures, plus the arrival of the latest MU comic from Alexis Zirritt soon!

MAN-E-NEWS// The MVH x SHB “Mutant Head Butt Attack” show at Rampage Studios…

Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Studios is gearing up for what has got to be one of the biggest events in neo-kaiju this year, the MVH x SHB “Mutant Head Butt Attack” show! Whilst the pieces are still forthcoming at the moment, we’re told to expect various customs from both Mutant Vinyl Hardcore and Skull Head Butt (presumably utilising each other’s figures), as well as a few one offs and maybe a micro run or two from Jon himself. Running for three days at the Rampage Studios gallery space, starting March 14th (opening reception 7pm-late), be sure to keep a close eye on the Rampage IG feed here for reveals as we get closer to the event- starting with the pictured Meteor-X figures at some point tomorrow!

MAN-E-NEWS// The BEARD resin figure from UME Toys revealed…

Richard Page over at UME Toys hopes to spread his undying love of facial hair (on men that is!) with the reveal of his latest figure, the BEARD! Standing at around 3″ of the most expertly groomed, hand cast resin, the furry little guy comes complete with the obligatory top hat and ‘tache to finish off his dapper look. Due to launch at ToyCon UK in a variety of different colours (including the pictured Brown BEARD!), with an online release planned soon after, the figure is set to come in a header-carded bag, signed for the not so hairy price of £32 plus shipping…

MAN-E-NEWS// The “Orange Creamsicle” Heathrow sofubi from Frank Kozik…

Teased here a couple of weeks back, Frank Kozik‘s Heathrow sofubi will finally be available in-store this Wednesday, February 26th at 2pm PST! Originally produced by Maqet and recently seeing a re-release in hand cast resin, the spikey mole-like creature will be making his debut in a micro 3″ format (mid-sized 5.5″ers to follow shortly!), coming cast in an “Orange Creamsicle” soft vinyl with white/black masked sprays and subtle dark orange accents. Limited to an edition of 50 bagged, headed and signed figures, Heathrow has been priced at just $40 plus shipping…

MAN-E-NEWS// October Toys’ OTMFG February colourways out now…

The guys over at October Toys have just unleashed February’s batch of OTMFG figures, the Bruiser Zombie Pheyden and Baby Butta Beet! Designed by Scott Tolleson and sculpted by George Gaspar, the Baby Deadbeat clocks in at 1.5″ of artery clogging lard coloured PVC, whilst the Matt Doughty/L’amour Supreme designed and George Gaspar sculpted Zombie Pheyden stands at around 2″ tall, coming in a gorgeous (albeit beaten looking!) teal-red thermal colour change. Available from the October Toys store right here, both have been priced at just $2 with a 5 of each figure per customer…

Following the huge success of the Slime mini figures way back in the spring of last year, Rampageo Industries have bowed to the requests of fans and produced a second wave of Jalldoon inhabitants! Featuring a total of 4 core designs; King Valdar, Princess Ikari, Delgon and General Skale, the cute little amorphous blobs range from 1″-2″ in height, each coming with their own distinct personality and charm. To be offered up through a number of different buying options, including full sets in Liars Blue, Glowberry, Forged Glowberry and Confetti at $20, blind bagged singles for $5, plus the all-new large scale Wild Cave Slimes for $15, and 2-pack micro War Slimes for just $4 (pictured below), Wave 2 of the Exciting World Of Jalldoon Slimes will be touching down in the Doom Kick store this Friday, February 28th at 9pm EST. Featuring all 10 of the original Series 1 line-up from the Sucklord x DKE Toys including; Sucklord 17, Sucklord 66, Vectar, Sucklord 43, Necromancer, Another Bitch, Galactic Jerkbag, Gay Empire, Ira Tyranusberg and Ass Wipe, the M.U.S.C.L.E inspired figures have been produced in an authentic injection moulded PVC, coming packed in a shrink wrapped plastic can similar to the recent LRG and Galactic Jerkbag editions.
