Thanks to the wonders of Instagram, we recently stumbled upon an all-new custom keshi line that we just had to share with you guys… presenting MASH: Mighty Mashroom! 100% hand made by Japanese illustrator Newter Vision, the awesome kinkeshi inspired line features a total of 3 figures to start with; Soldier, Goblin and our favourite, Cotton Sweat Eye. Standing at around 2″ tall each, the real pull, apart from the incredibly authentic sculpting, has got to be the use of mixed materials. Detachable weapons/body parts and legs have been cast in a durable solid resin, whilst the torsos remain in a super-playable flexible plastic- perfect for that KO 80’s toy feel! Toy Art Gallery have just revealed that their second exclusive Jyujin edition will be touching down in-store today (12/17)! Created by Japanese artist GEEK! and produced by Medicom Toy, the Jyujin “ENISHI” Green Edition clocks in at a whopping 12 inches tall, coming cast in a brown soft vinyl this time around, featuring various brown/green sprays and hand painted detailing. Packed in a deluxe resealable plastic bag, the figure will be dropping right here at 12pm Pacific time for $165 plus shipping. Anyone interested in picking the piece up is going to need to act quick, the first version went on to sell out in a matter of minutes!

After the success of their Manborg figure last summer, Goodleg Toys are proud to present their second Astron 6 influenced resin art toy, Biocop! Created in the spirit of Steve Kostanski’s “Bio-Cop” from 2012, a fake trailer about a mutated cop who cannot die and his struggles to stop the latest designer drug(!), the figure has been kit-bashed and resculpted from a variety of action figures, coming cast in resin with 5 points of articulation. Hand painted with GITD eyes and a suitable measure of zombie ‘crud’, the 3.75″ tall piece has been blister packed with cardback art from none other than Ralph Niese. Limited to an edition of just 10 pieces, Biocop will be heading to the Goodleg store via preorder this Thursday, Dec 19th, at 6.66pm (six minutes past seven to be precise) GMT+1. Elegab has released details of his December lottery sales, featuring not one, but two versions of his latest creation, Zubora the lazy slob monster! Up for grabs in either flesh or sky blue soft vinyl, the 23cm tall, 7 part figure comes with a number of metallic, vintage-style kaiju sprays, complete with cigarette and paper treasure map accessories. As if yesterday’s Pine Danglin’ mini figure set wasn’t enough to get you in the mood for the holidays, the guys over at Triclops have not one, but two festive B.A.S.T.A.R.D releases dropping in-store this Friday, December 13th at 3pm London time! First up we have the Ballock Baulbles… Teased here last month, the Boglin inspired Ballock returns for his latest B.A.S.T.A.R.D outing, with the 2″ mini coming cast in a green resin, with handpainted detailing, a custom Christmas hat and a tag to hang the little bugger on a tree. Edition size on these remains unconfirmed, but with a price tag of just £12 each, we can’t see them lasting long… Next, we have the return of the latest B.A.S.T.A.R.D release, the Venice Hulkin’ B.A.S.T.A.R.D twin pack! Featuring designs from both Triclops and The Tarantulas/Ralph Niese, the pair come in a slightly different colourway from the ‘sunburnt’ originals, with Beef Cake sporting a tan-less flesh tone, whilst Final Boss takes on the green of the Hulk. It appears that the recently posted IG Ba Ba won’t be the only figure to feature in Healeymade‘s upcoming Holiday sale, as the resin artist proudly presents a “Tannenbaum” version of Quackula too! Similar to the recently released “Topiary” edition, the loving tribute to cult 80’s cartoon Count Duckula has been cast in resin using a secret stippling technique, with the tree-like figures coming painted in an evergreen, complete with a light dusting of snow. Joining Sparrow and the recently unveiled Shroomy, Blurble comes with yet another addition to his ever growing family of resin figures, the absolutely killer Kid Toxic! Designed by Blurble and digitally sculpted by iamscumbag, the piece brings the same instantly recognisable skate punk aesthetic, this time around with nods to both Ed Roth and 70’s cult classic toy Ooze-It too. We’ve still no word about how or when the little guy is going to be produced, but we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that Kid Toxic marks the artist’s jump into sofubi- aside from the lip on the cap, the sculpt sure lends itself to it… We’ll be updating you guys on the project as soon as we here anything, but in the meantime, you can head over to Blurble’s IG feed here to get a closer look at the figure…

Hot off the heals of his debut self produced sofubi Mr Melty, Buff Monster has just revealed an all-new zombified version! Designed by Buff and sculpted by the highly talented Mitch Martinez, the 3″ figure features a similar cone shaped body to the original, albeit with some rather gruesome additions- including an incomprehensible flap of stitched skin/ice cream! Due to come cast in a white soft vinyl for it’s debut, the Zombie Mr Melty should be touching down in the Buff Monster store at some point next week (TBC) for around $30 plus shipping. Created for Clutter Magazine‘s upcoming ‘affordable’ art show “Gift Wrapped”, the set of 5 resin figures features 4 Peenut Hunters and 1 poor Peenut, each coming hand painted with a festive hat, bell and hook tie. Due to be sold at the event this Saturday, December 14th, lucky purchasers won’t have to wait until the end of the exhibition to pick their pieces up- as they can be taken home night!
