Medicom Toy have just revealed that they will be teaming up with COSMOS for the re-release of the 80’s Ooze-It gachapon bootlegs! Featuring both of the original designs, the pair (Alien A & B) stand at around 7.5cm tall, coming packed in the original gacha box with bootleg ooze plugs, collectors card and bonus “blood of the alien” accessory. Priced at just 2,940yen (approx. $30) each, the soft vinyl figures will be up for grabs in 2 different colour options; a glow in the dark green that will be touching down in the Cosmos store on December 7th, and a clear green that will be released at the Village Vanguard Aeon Mall Makuhari New City store on December 21st. Interested parties in the west are going to need to hit up a forwarding service ASAP, demand for these is sure to be sky high!
GEEK! have revealed that they will be offering up a trio of mixed part Jyujins at the Max Toy Doki Doki Osaka booth this Sunday! Cast in a mix of lilac, flesh, black, green and red soft vinyl, the unpainted, 12″ tall figures appear to be limited to just one of each, coming priced at 10,000yen (approx. $100) a piece. DKE Toys have just revealed that the remaining pieces from the Super Suck-Up 2 show are now available to purchase online! Originally making an appearance at Designer Con earlier in the month, a total of 14 different versions of the iconic Sucklord Bootleg were created by some of the art toy scene’s biggest players, including Bob Conge, Healeymade, Mike Egan, Touma, Uamou and of course, the Sucklord himself. Ranging from kit-bashed bootlegs, custom hand paints, double casts, and even a fully fledged sofubi micro in Grody Shogun’s case, the figures have been limited to editions between 29 and 50, with the majority coming in at $100 a piece. In celebration of St Nikolaus Tag in Germany and Austria next week, Rampage Toys have teamed up with Krotpong for a very special Killer Krampus release! Cast in a GID blue soft vinyl, the 8″ figure comes with the usual “Naughty Boy” omake and beating stick accessory, although this time around it’ll be offered up in 2 different flavours; a bagged and headed blank version priced at $80, and a blind-bagged one-off painted edition handled by Rampage’s Jon Malmstedt for $150. Due to go on sale next Friday, December 6th in the Rampage Toys store, orders will be open for 5 days, with the intent of all figures making it out by December 20th- just in time for Christmas!
Originally created as a quick sketch for a collector, UME Toys‘ ultra-cute Geekwok character will be making the transition into 3D as a fully fledged resin figure!
