Created as part of the Hang Fire gallery’s recent Trick or Treat event, The Small Choking Parts Toy Company’s Blood Bags and Grimm are now available online! A joint project between 45RPM and Richt, the 5″ tall resin figures were individually created by the artists in a similar style, coming hand painted and packed with a vintage horror comic-esque backer and custom coffin blister bubble. MAN-E-XCLUSIVE// The Disarticulators’ Oozeball general release announced…
It’s been a couple of months since the debut of The Disarticulators‘ Oozeball at Superfestival 63, so it comes with great pleasure today to reveal that the general release will finally be happening at the end of next week! Designed/sculpted by Zectron and produced in a super-bouncy urethane rubber by Tru:Tek, the hugely popular Madball/Ooze-It send up will be touching down in ‘open run’ editions of both “Bootleg Neon” and “OG” green, a batch of 10 in “Midnight” black, plus a super-limited run of custom hand rubs (pictured)- available either on their own, or as a set with the Deathball. Touching down in the Man-E-Toys store next Friday, November 22nd at 9pm London time, expect a full reveal with prices later in the week…
NOTE// Until the kinks are worked out with the fully playable Oozeball (softer rubber, complete with OOZE!), these will remain in the same harder “display only” rubber used in previous releases.
MAN-E-NEWS// The Angler Armorvor custom from Ersico…
Never ceasing to amaze with his constant flow of custom work, Ersico comes with quite possibly his most accomplished figure to date, the incredible Angler Armorvor! Featuring a ton of custom parts and additional sculpting, including oversized claws, a huge mane and back pack extension, the figure is one of the first to use the new Godbeast x Jason Frailey “Terror from the Deep” head, coming cast in a clear orange resin with a Glyos jointed headpiece and articulated jaw. Painted in Ersico’s signature blend of layered weathering and detail hugging washes, the stunning figure should hopefully be up for grabs in the Ersico store at some point in the near future (price TBC)…

Following GEEK!’s Jujin run last month, Mandarake continue their run of exclusives with the reveal of Mushra and Alien Miracle from Bearmodel! Standing at around 15cm tall each, the Ultraman kaiju have been cast in a vintage orange soft vinyl for the release, coming with a number of neon and metallic sprays. Priced at just 5,000yen (approx. $50) a piece, the pair are currently up for grabs via lottery until November 25th. Itoken Park have just revealed that their latest batch of soft vinyl minis will be up for grabs in their store tomorrow (11/10) at 9pm Japan time! Nama Niku has just revealed that he’ll be resurrecting the hugely popular Poo Shine custom keshi for a Mitari/Gargamel exclusive release! An ingenious kitbash that turns the original Sunshine Kinnikuman into a micro “chibi” size, the figure is set to come with the original’s 4 interchangeable heads; Moon Shine, Samurai Shine, Giza Shine and the namesake’s custom sculpted Poo Shine… Hand cast by Eric Nilla in a keshi-style GID rubber, the figures are due to come packed in an authentic 70′s style capsule with insert. Joining the already impressive list of Designer Con exclusives that’ve been revealed over the past week or so, Comet Debris is proud to present the final two- a Kappa Shonen Mystery Bag and an “Early Bird” Sametan! Limited to just 5 pieces, the Kappa Shonen bags each contain a custom one-off figure plus an undisclosed “secret”. Whilst we can’t confirm anything at present, it would appear that the Secret Base half of the recently revealed Frankenball7 mash-up will be up for grabs later today! Featuring a grey cast Frankenghost body with a marbled GID/green Obake head (with Super7‘s western release coming with a Goner instead), the 4″ tall soft vinyl figure is estimated to cost around 6,000yen. Likely to only be available to Japanese customers, those in the West will be glad to know that forwarding service M-World are currently offering them up at 10,800 a piece. A tribute to the self proclaimed “Chairman of WCW”, lucha libre’s toughest skeleton wrestler stands at around 3″ tall, coming cast in a mix of black, flesh and clear two-toned resin. Fresh from his impressive showing at NYCC, the wonderfully macabre Seymour Art has just revealed the first images of his latest project! Diverging from his signature one-off sculpts, this latest piece is due to become a resin multiple, featuring totem-esque sections that can be fully rotated to create a number of different character combinations. Due to be touching down in the Seymour Art store some time before Christmas, we’ll be keeping our ear to the ground for more info on this intriguing figure soon…

We’ve already featured one amazing Rotten Rexx custom that creator James Groman will be bringing along to Designer Con this weekend, so it came with great pleasure today to find that he’s teamed up with Lulubell Toys to bring that total up to four! Aptly named “Radiated”, “Rawmeat”, “Red Dead” and “Ultimate” Rexx, the hand painted quartet will be up for grabs via lottery at the Lulubell booth (#120) for $800 each, with drawings at 5.15pm local time on Saturday and 12.15am on Sunday. Joining the customs, Lulubell will also have several more marbled Rexx blanks at $250 each, as well as a healthy stock of Groman’s Rotten Rex comic book up for grabs… Unable to make the con, but still want to grab a Rexx? Masters of the creepy/cute aesthetic, Double Parlour will be out in force at this weekend’s Designer Con, unveiling a staggering selection of micro resin runs and one-off pieces that’ll be up for grabs at their booth (#208)! With too many different figures to list here, we bring you a quick round-up of our favourite pieces revealed so far…
Bashlus (pictured top)// Limited to an edition of 20 totally unique, one-off creations, these cat-like figures have been sculpted in polymer clay, coming with a whole host of accessories, including face masks, parasites, and in 2 cases, a macabre pool of blood! Pricing on these is still to be revealed, but we’re guessing it’ll be variable due to the vast range of sizes available.
Untitled (Back Pugs)// These rather sinister looking little doggies have been limited to 6, black cast resin figures, each coming with variable length arms. Finished with a beautiful ‘galaxy’ style white spray with meticulous hand painted facial features, pricing on them is still to be confirmed.
Tilly// Featuring an adorable teddy bear costume and a smile of a psychopath(!), the super-creepy Tilly has been hand cast in an edition of 5, each coming hand painted in a mix of light blue, red and flesh for just $60 each.
Sylvie// More cute than creepy this time around, the super-clean feline sculpt receives a muted palette for this run, featuring a mix of flat olive, pink, red and black tones. Limited to an edition of 6, pricing is still to be confirmed.
Odette (main picture)// Easily our favourite figure of the bunch, the striking Odette features a simple (axe wielding!) female body sculpt with a miniature tree for a head. Limited to just 3 one-off, originally sculpted creations, each comes in a unique colourway with hand painted roots/lifelines running down the chest. Pricing TBC.
Miette// Double Parlour’s reoccurring Miette character returns for a super-limited run of 3 figures! Created from what appears to be a mix of resin and polymer clay, each comes with an originally sculpted body with alternating ‘twist’ arms. Painted in the signature mix of solid black with stripy white socks, pricing is again TBC…

TAG owner Gino Joukar has revealed that pretty much all of the gallery’s self produced sofubi will be up for grabs at DCon in an exclusive clear cast vinyl! Featuring a slew of past favourites alongside new comers the Rotting Reaper from Michael Pro and Brent Nolasco’s Blood Thirst, all will be available at the Toy Art Gallery booth (#215) from 9am on Saturday (11/9)… Here’s hoping at least a few make it to the online store soon after!
