MAN-E-NEWS// Blood Bags and Grimm resin figures from The Small Choking Parts Toy Company…

Created as part of the Hang Fire gallery’s recent Trick or Treat event, The Small Choking Parts Toy Company’s Blood Bags and Grimm are now available online! A joint project between 45RPM and Richt, the 5″ tall resin figures were individually created by the artists in a similar style, coming hand painted and packed with a vintage horror comic-esque backer and custom coffin blister bubble. Limited to just 10 pieces of each, the pair are currently up for grabs in the Hang Fire store right here for £60 (approx. $95) each plus shipping…

MAN-E-XCLUSIVE// The Disarticulators’ Oozeball general release announced…

It’s been a couple of months since the debut of The Disarticulators‘ Oozeball at Superfestival 63, so it comes with great pleasure today to reveal that the general release will finally be happening at the end of next week! Designed/sculpted by Zectron and produced in a super-bouncy urethane rubber by Tru:Tek, the hugely popular Madball/Ooze-It send up will be touching down in ‘open run’ editions of both “Bootleg Neon” and “OG” green, a batch of 10 in “Midnight” black, plus a super-limited run of custom hand rubs (pictured)- available either on their own, or as a set with the Deathball. Touching down in the Man-E-Toys store next Friday, November 22nd at 9pm London time, expect a full reveal with prices later in the week…

NOTE// Until the kinks are worked out with the fully playable Oozeball (softer rubber, complete with OOZE!), these will remain in the same harder “display only” rubber used in previous releases.

MAN-E-NEWS// The Angler Armorvor custom from Ersico…

Never ceasing to amaze with his constant flow of custom work, Ersico comes with quite possibly his most accomplished figure to date, the incredible Angler Armorvor! Featuring a ton of custom parts and additional sculpting, including oversized claws, a huge mane and back pack extension, the figure is one of the first to use the new Godbeast x Jason Frailey “Terror from the Deep” head, coming cast in a clear orange resin with a Glyos jointed headpiece and articulated jaw. Painted in Ersico’s signature blend of layered weathering and detail hugging washes, the stunning figure should hopefully be up for grabs in the Ersico store at some point in the near future (price TBC)…

MAN-E-NEWS// The Mandarake exclusive Mushra and Alien Miracle sofubi from Bearmodel…

Following GEEK!’s Jujin run last month, Mandarake continue their run of exclusives with the reveal of Mushra and Alien Miracle from Bearmodel! Standing at around 15cm tall each, the Ultraman kaiju have been cast in a vintage orange soft vinyl for the release, coming with a number of neon and metallic sprays. Priced at just 5,000yen (approx. $50) a piece, the pair are currently up for grabs via lottery until November 25th. Interested parties, both domestic and international, can fill out the dedicated application form right here…

To celebrate a recent store revamp, Adam Pratt aka Small Angry Monster is proud to reveal that along with a few price adjustments, a number of new pieces are now up for grabs, including an awesome “Blood & Oil” threeA x Hotwheel 2 pack, plus our favourite, a beautifully customised Greasebat mini figure! Taken from Jeff Lamm and Unbox Industries’ recently released Gummi Playset, the 2.5″ tall injection moulded rubber figure has been treated to SAM’s instantly recognisable palette of flat, contrasting colours, coming with a number of dark washes that really help to bring out the digital sculpt’s minute details. Priced at just $30 plus shipping, the little guy can be found alongside a whole host of other customs in the Monster’s Lair store right here…

MAN-E-NEWS// New sofubi minis from Itokin Park…

Itoken Park have just revealed that their latest batch of soft vinyl minis will be up for grabs in their store tomorrow (11/10) at 9pm Japan time! Featuring the adorable Astronaut in a teal green, the debut of the beautifully painted Beaver wood car, plus the clear incased Robot Girl, all 3 figures will be available to Japanese customers for just 2,800yen (approx. $30) plus shipping. We’re still not sure as to whether they’ll be taking international orders, so your best bet is to hit up forwarding service M-World at m-world-service@dream.jp with any enquiries…

Color Ink Book are proud to reveal that they’ve teamed up with Skinner for the release of his latest Lurker figure! Going on sale at their Designer Con booth (#812) tomorrow, the sword and skull wielding creep has been kit-bashed and resculpted by the artist, coming cast in a black resin with hand painted detailing and a vintage figure display base. Limited to an edition of 40 bagged and headed pieces, the Lurkers will be available for around $60 each (TBC)…

MAN-E-NEWS// The Mitari exclusive Poo Shine V2 from Nama Niku x Eric Nilla…

Nama Niku has just revealed that he’ll be resurrecting the hugely popular Poo Shine custom keshi for a Mitari/Gargamel exclusive release! An ingenious kitbash that turns the original Sunshine Kinnikuman into a micro “chibi” size, the figure is set to come with the original’s 4 interchangeable heads; Moon Shine, Samurai Shine, Giza Shine and the namesake’s custom sculpted Poo Shine… Hand cast by Eric Nilla in a keshi-style GID rubber, the figures are due to come packed in an authentic 70′s style capsule with insert. Touching down in the Mitari store soon, we suggest keeping a close eye on the Nama Niku Instagram feed here for release details…

MAN-E-NEWS// Comet Debris’ DCon exclusive “Early Bird” Sametans and Kappa Shonen Mystery Bags…

Joining the already impressive list of Designer Con exclusives that’ve been revealed over the past week or so, Comet Debris is proud to present the final two- a Kappa Shonen Mystery Bag and an “Early Bird” Sametan! Limited to just 5 pieces, the Kappa Shonen bags each contain a custom one-off figure plus an undisclosed “secret”. Coming in at a very reasonable $100 each, these will be available at booth #418 from 9am local time tomorrow… In response to the Saturday “Early Bird” Shonen, Comet Debris will be making sure that attendees on Sunday get a fair chance at an ultra-limited figure too, with an equally as awesome GID Sametan! Coming with light neon sprays and black masked detailing, the figure has been limited to just 5 pieces at $45 each, available from booth #418 at 9am Sunday…

MAN-E-NEWS// Secret Base’s “Obake” Frankenball7 sofubi…

Whilst we can’t confirm anything at present, it would appear that the Secret Base half of the recently revealed Frankenball7 mash-up will be up for grabs later today! Featuring a grey cast Frankenghost body with a marbled GID/green Obake head (with Super7‘s western release coming with a Goner instead), the 4″ tall soft vinyl figure is estimated to cost around 6,000yen. Likely to only be available to Japanese customers, those in the West will be glad to know that forwarding service M-World are currently offering them up at 10,800 a piece. Having been up for preorder for the past month or so, Angel Abby‘s Medicom Toy exclusive Uchukyojin will finally be going on sale this Saturday, November 9th! Cast in a black soft vinyl, the fully articulated, 12″ tall piece comes with a mix of green and gold sprays devised by FRENZY’s Oishi Shoji specifically for this release. Available to Japanese customers through the Medicom store right here, it looks as if interested parties in the West are going to have to use a forwarding service to bag one. MAN-E-NEWS// Scraped Resin’s DCon excluisve “La Parka” custom bootleg…

As promised yesterday, we bring you the second Designer Con exclusive from Scraped Resin‘s Robert Rodriguez, La Parka! A tribute to the self proclaimed “Chairman of WCW”, lucha libre’s toughest skeleton wrestler stands at around 3″ tall, coming cast in a mix of black, flesh and clear two-toned resin. Priced at just $15 a piece, limited numbers of La Parka will be available at the Resin Syndicate booth (#512) from 9am tomorrow (11/9). Those unable to attend the event can expect any leftovers to drop in the Scraped Resin store at some point next week…

MAN-E-NEWS// New WIP resin figure from Seymour Art…

Fresh from his impressive showing at NYCC, the wonderfully macabre Seymour Art has just revealed the first images of his latest project! Diverging from his signature one-off sculpts, this latest piece is due to become a resin multiple, featuring totem-esque sections that can be fully rotated to create a number of different character combinations. Due to be touching down in the Seymour Art store some time before Christmas, we’ll be keeping our ear to the ground for more info on this intriguing figure soon…

MAN-E-NEWS// James Groman’s Rotten Rexx at Designer Con…

We’ve already featured one amazing Rotten Rexx custom that creator James Groman will be bringing along to Designer Con this weekend, so it came with great pleasure today to find that he’s teamed up with Lulubell Toys to bring that total up to four! Aptly named “Radiated”, “Rawmeat”, “Red Dead” and “Ultimate” Rexx, the hand painted quartet will be up for grabs via lottery at the Lulubell booth (#120) for $800 each, with drawings at 5.15pm local time on Saturday and 12.15am on Sunday. Joining the customs, Lulubell will also have several more marbled Rexx blanks at $250 each, as well as a healthy stock of Groman’s Rotten Rex comic book up for grabs… Unable to make the con, but still want to grab a Rexx? Then you’ll be glad to know that Lulubell are still offering up blank flesh and grey colourways right here!

Getting back to his roots, Adam Saul over at Cop A Squat Toys takes a break from Semi Korosiya releases to drop his latest resin figure, the ¡Viva Occult! Alpha Resin! Sculpt and cast by Adam, the kaiju-styled monster stands at around 5″ tall, coming with a fully working crystal weapon attached by clear vinyl tubing. Killer Bootlegs’ Ewoking Dead// Killer Bootlegs resurrect the ever popular zombie ewok for one last colourway! Limited to 50 pieces in total, each has been cast in resin, coming handpainted and flocked by KB’s Peter Goral. Packaged on an awesome cardback made by Sidekick Labs, the Ewoking Dead have been priced at $80 each. Dropping at 1pm on Saturday (11/9), Peter will be on hand at the booth for signing duties.

Tone Tank’s Lemon Hombre// Tone Tank debuts his latest custom bootleg wrestler! Standing at the standard 5.5″ tall, the resin cast figure has been flocked in a bright lemon yellow. Limited to just 10 pieces this time around, Lemon Hombre will be up for grabs on Saturday for $60 a piece.

Galactic Jerbag Glyos V2// The second version of the Galactic Jerkbag Glyos, a tribute to Sucklord’s original 3.75″, the fully compatible figures features a hand cast resin head and vinyl cape, produced and dyed in a bright green by Killer Bootlegs. Packaged in a cool double blister that also comes with a unique sketch card by Irishmofo, these have been limited to just 10 pieces priced at $45 each. Expect these to go on sale at the beginning of the con on Saturday (11/9).

The Rivet Gallery have just revealed that they’re the latest to secure an exclusive Bunnywith “Affinity to Slave Girls” colourway! Designed by Alex Pardee and sculpted by George Gaspar, the hilarious Jabba the Hut send-up stands at around 3.5″ tall, produced in a clear purple glitter injection moulded PVC for this release. Limited to 200 pieces, Bunnywith “Affinity to Slave Girls” will up for grabs in the Rivet Gallery store on Wednesday, November 20th at 12pm EST for just $12 plus shipping…

Joining new versions of Ace Robo, Tokoji Seijin and Kappa Shonen, Comet Debris is proud to present yet another figure exclusive making it’s way to Designer Con this weekend… Sametan! Standing at around 4.5″ tall and featuring 1 point of articulation, the adorable gorgeous figure has been cast in a grey and pink soft vinyl this time around, replete with subtle spray accents and hand painted detailing. Limited to an edition of 25, Sametan will be up for grabs from booth #418 for just $45 a piece… But that’s not all! On top of the previously posted Kappa Shonen, Comet Debris will also have another “Early Bird Special” special edition for those attending on Saturday. Limited to just 5 and priced at $60 each, these have been cast in a clear pink vinyl, with black and purple sprays… Grab ’em while you can!

MAN-E-NEWS// Double Parlour’s Designer Con exclusives…

Masters of the creepy/cute aesthetic, Double Parlour will be out in force at this weekend’s Designer Con, unveiling a staggering selection of micro resin runs and one-off pieces that’ll be up for grabs at their booth (#208)! With too many different figures to list here, we bring you a quick round-up of our favourite pieces revealed so far…

Bashlus (pictured top)// Limited to an edition of 20 totally unique, one-off creations, these cat-like figures have been sculpted in polymer clay, coming with a whole host of accessories, including face masks, parasites, and in 2 cases, a macabre pool of blood! Pricing on these is still to be revealed, but we’re guessing it’ll be variable due to the vast range of sizes available.

Untitled (Back Pugs)// These rather sinister looking little doggies have been limited to 6, black cast resin figures, each coming with variable length arms. Finished with a beautiful ‘galaxy’ style white spray with meticulous hand painted facial features, pricing on them is still to be confirmed.

Tilly// Featuring an adorable teddy bear costume and a smile of a psychopath(!), the super-creepy Tilly has been hand cast in an edition of 5, each coming hand painted in a mix of light blue, red and flesh for just $60 each.

Sylvie// More cute than creepy this time around, the super-clean feline sculpt receives a muted palette for this run, featuring a mix of flat olive, pink, red and black tones. Limited to an edition of 6, pricing is still to be confirmed.

Odette (main picture)// Easily our favourite figure of the bunch, the striking Odette features a simple (axe wielding!) female body sculpt with a miniature tree for a head. Limited to just 3 one-off, originally sculpted creations, each comes in a unique colourway with hand painted roots/lifelines running down the chest. Pricing TBC.

Miette// Double Parlour’s reoccurring Miette character returns for a super-limited run of 3 figures! Created from what appears to be a mix of resin and polymer clay, each comes with an originally sculpted body with alternating ‘twist’ arms. Painted in the signature mix of solid black with stripy white socks, pricing is again TBC…

MAN-E-NEWS// The Toy Art Gallery’s clear vinyl Designer Con exclusives…

TAG owner Gino Joukar has revealed that pretty much all of the gallery’s self produced sofubi will be up for grabs at DCon in an exclusive clear cast vinyl! Featuring a slew of past favourites alongside new comers the Rotting Reaper from Michael Pro and Brent Nolasco’s Blood Thirst, all will be available at the Toy Art Gallery booth (#215) from 9am on Saturday (11/9)… Here’s hoping at least a few make it to the online store soon after!
