The first of 2 Designer Con exclusives we’ll be unveiling from Robert Rodriguez over at Scraped Resin, Lord Demonico is the artist’s latest collaboration with The Mark Ultra. Standing at 3.75″, this supernatural terrorist has been jointly kit-bashed and recast by by the pair, with Ultra focusing on the body (a rehash of the recent Chrono Cultist), whilst Rodriguez focused on the head and detachable helmet. Cast in a mix of purple, black and clear yellow resin, the figure comes packed in a resealable blistered backer with art from Rodriguez. Brian Flynn over at Super7 has just revealed a collab figure from heaven, proudly presenting the Frankenball7 sofubi! Teaming up with Secretbase, the ingenious Frankenghost mash-up will be available in 2 different editions; an Obake version that’ll only be available to purchase at the SB store, and a Goner that’ll be exclusive to Super7, both cast in a swirled green and white soft vinyl with grey bodies. Following a hugely successful debut at NYCC last month, Triplikid is proud to reveal that his two new figures, Mirth and Dolor, will finally be available in-store this Friday (11/8) at Noon EST! With a number of different options available including painted and DIY versions (plus a few cheeky Gropers!), we bring you the full rundown of what exactly will be on offer…
Mirth// Digitally sculpted and produced in resin by Mana Studios, the toothy Mirth stands at a lumbering 5″ tall, coming packed with his own flower accessory. Available in a beautiful hand painted edition of 25 for $80 each, Mirth will also be up for grabs in a blank DIY white for just $40.
Dolor, the Hunter// Again, sculpted and produced by Mana Studios, this rather more intricate piece stands 4.5″ tall, coming with a set of chains, 3 mountable skulls and an axe accessory. Offered up in a hand painted edition of 25 for $80, an unassembled, blank DIY version will also be available for $40.
NYCC Exclusive GID Groper// Bowing to public demand, Triplikid had a batch of 12 GID Gropers specially made for NYCC! With just 7 pieces left at $75 each, these will be joined by a strictly limited number of the previously released painted, DIY and grey versions (prices TBC).

Gutted you’ll be missing out on Blurble‘s previously posted Designer Con exclusives? Well to all those unable to attend the event, you’re in luck, as he’s only gone and saved the best for online! Coming in the form of a Sparrow micro run, the limited batch of 3 figures have been cast up in a black resin this time around, featuring a skeletal white paint job inspired by none other than The Misfits. Touching down in the Blurble store at some point this week, each bagged and headed piece is due to come packed with a black hat and skateboard accessory for an estimated $30 each. MAN-E-NEWS// Mechavirus’ Ammonaito sofubi test shot revealed…
Originally teased back in August, it would appear that Mechavirus‘ sea-dwelling kaiju, the Ammonaito, has finally made the leap to sofubi! After countless resin customs and painted runs, the tentacled beast has been completely re-tooled for the new medium, featuring a slightly upscaled body, tighter detailing and a much more dynamic pose. Revealed here as a blank white test shot, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that the first full release will be touching down shortly. Master of the double cast, Scott Wilkowski has just revealed his entry for this weekend’s Super Suck-Up 2 show! Teaming up with Galactic Jerkbags, the artist has opted to work with the fan site’s familiar mascot instead of the standard Sucklord Bootleg, resulting in a stunning clear purple cast figure with a worm-like skeleton embedded inside. Limited to an edition of 50 blister backed figures, these will be going on sale at the DKE Toys/Super Suck-Up Designer Con booth starting Saturday (11/9) at 11am for $100 each. But that’s not all! Joining the Galactic Jerkbag, Scott will also be releasing his smallest double cast to date… a S.U.C.K.L.E. Sucklord! Standing a just 2″ tall, the little guy has been produced in a clear blue resin complete with a minute skeleton inside- just perfect! Swiftly following the singular release of the Tsutenkakurobo keshi in both Retro and Original designs, Monstock return with the first ever Mons-keshi 4 pack! Featuring the 2 aforementioned figures, these have been joined by another 2 all-new sculpts, similar “building kaiju” Towerman and the Kinnikuman inspired TumoriDX. Standing at around 7cm each, the mini figures have been produced in a yellow, keshi-style injection moulded PVC for this release. Topheroy proudly presents his latest custom masterpiece, the “My Pet Monster” Autopsy Baby! Cast in a clear blue resin for this incredible one-off, Topheroy has adorned the gruesome infant in a mixture of neon red, purple, blue and orange sprays 100% faithful to the cult 80’s plush (the MPM chains reference in the staple stitches being the icing on the cake for us!). Unfortunately not for sale at present, we’ll be keeping our fingers and toes crossed that a similar run in the recently unveiled Autopsy Baby sofubi will rear it’s ugly head soon… Well, we can hope anyway!

Debuting at Design Fiesta 38 over the weekend, it would appear that Fig-Lab‘s tokusatsu inspired Finger Five sofubi will be getting a general release soon! Featuring all 5 designs from Paul Kaiju, Monstrehero, Sucklord, Lamour Supreme and Onell, each has been given a makeover based on a different show, including the pictured Barom One “Biter One”, Spectreman “Sucktreman” (in pachi colours) and the Lion Maru “Saru Maru”. Hopefully touching down in the Fig-X store at some point later this week, expect to pay around 2,000yen (approx. $20) per figure, or 10,000yen for the set (plus bonus Datadub figure!).

Following the test shot revealed over the weekend, ManOrMonster Studios can finally unveil the 2 all-new figures they’ll have up for grabs at Designer Con over the weekend! First up we have the previously posted Heisenborg… Based on artwork originally created by Ryan Browne, the hilarious homage to the king of chemistry was designed/kitbashed by Brad Rader of Battle Babies fame, with production handed over to MoM’s Brandon Barker. Standing at 4.5″ tall and featuring WoW compatible neo-mag joints, the resin figure is actually the first ever carded MoM figure, coming complete with an Iron Man inspired paint job, test tube accessory and a Sky Blue background diorama, all housed in a resealable plastic clamshell. Limited to an edition of 6, Heisenborg will be available from the Galactic Jerkbags booth (#122) for $75 a piece.
Next up we have yet another MoM? x Battle Babies collab, as Brandon and Brad team up for the release of ARMY BRAT! Featuring a creepy mix of kitbashed dolls and tanks in the unmistakable BB style, the figure has been cast in resin by MoM?, featuring WoW compatible articulation and a weathered army green paint job. Again limited to 6 pieces, each coming housed in a custom made box, the ARMY BRATs will also be available at booth #122, priced at $80 each…

Mighty Jaxx have teamed up with Daniel Yu for the latest colourway of the ever-popular Oi! Cthulhu resin, a Designer Con exclusive ‘Stealth’! Hand sculpted by Daniel, the 6″ tall Lovecraftian figure comes fully articulated, complete with magnetic interchangeable hands and mini devil wings. Cast in an unpainted smoked clear resin for this release, the Stealth Oi! Cthulhu has been limited to just 50 pieces this time around, priced at an estimated $70 each.
