Mike Kirchoff aka The Mark Ultra is proud to present a whole slew of new figures that’ll be up for grabs at Designer Con booth this weekend… Kicking things off in style, Mike has teamed up with artist Alexis Ziritt for the rerelease of 3 long-time favourites, giving the figures an awesome graphic novel-esque feel in-line with Ziritt’s incredible artwork. Cast in a white resin with a black rub, each figure; Spiritual Intruder (pictured), Night Moves and the Papal Guardian, come packed on a mini blister backer designed by the artist for just $35 a piece… Next up we have an all-new figure from Mark Ultra, the Space Pirate King! Kitbashed from a variety of different vintage 3.75″ action figures, the piece has been recast, coming with a black/flesh/silver faux factory style paint job. Limited to just 6 pieces for this initial run, SPK comes bagged and tagged for $30 each…

Last, but by no means least, The Mark Ultra comes with his biggest figure to date, the lumbering behemoth, Intrudor!! Towering over all other barbarian bootlegs at over 6″ tall, the figure comes with 3 points of articulation and 2 interchangeable heads. Available in either a painted flesh or black with glow accents, both have been limited to just 10 pieces at $50 each…

Debuting at Design Fiesta 38 over the weekend, Kikkake‘s first painted Iron Clown mini has just touched down in their store! Standing at around 11cm tall, the mini sofubi has been cast in a pink vinyl, coming with a number of metallic sprays and some beautiful hand painted detailing. Priced at 4,000yen (approx. $40) plus shipping, the blister carded figure has also been joined by an unpainted version, plus a pink blank Iron Monkey mini, both available for just 3,000yen (approx. $30) each…

With the OMFG Series 3 Kickstarter packs finally making their way into collector’s homes, customiser Ersico has wasted no time in getting to work on his, proudly presenting not 1, but 2 fully painted Zombie Pheydens! Originally intended for October Toys’ second series of Z.O.M.B.I.E mini figures, the Glyos crossover was rather kindly offered up to all OMFG Series 3 backers in both flesh and black- hence 2 being offered up here! Painted up in both a standard Pheyden powder blue/grey and a Gylaxia inspired blue/yellow, both have been finished to Ersico’s usual degree of excellence, complete with minute detailing, meticulous weathering and a number of detail hugging washes. Available on the Ersico store right here, the pair have been priced at a very reasonable $17 each plus shipping…

MAN-E-NEWS// The NNWA Pachi Big Match wrestling ring sets from Nama Niku…

Originally making a brief appearance at the Mitari Superfestival booth back in September, it would appear that Nama Niku will be resurrecting the NNWA Pachi Big Match wrestling ring sets for one last release! Currently on their way over to Rampage Toys in Japan (presumably for online release at a later date), each set contains a customised, keshi-scaled Nama Niku ring plus one of the following mini figure pair ups; Mekamess vs Manzilla, Gyudome vs Mekamess, Top Rope vs Cannibal Gyudome, or Half Baked Ham vs Meatgrinder II, with a special one-off “Pachi Of Death Battle Royale Set” coming complete with 4-way pairing Poo Shine vs Chibi Grinder vs Mekamess vs Brute Squad! Hopefully touching down in the Rampage Toys store in the near future, we’ll be bringing you guys the full lowdown as soon as we hear anything…

Hellopike is proud to present his latest custom, transforming FiveStar’s Robinmask sofubi into none other than Battle Armor Skeletor! Tackling the iconic Kinnikuman character with ease, the 8″ tall soft vinyl figure has been tightly masked in a faithful mix of light blue, purple and black, complete with pink chest sprays, a neon yellow mask and black/red hand painted detailing. Due to be heading to the Hellopike online store alongside a whole host of other planned customs, we suggest keeping an eye on the artist’s Instagram feed here for release details soon…

Offering up a huge selection of customs and original sofubi at Design Fiesta 38 over the weekend, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just revealed the leftovers that’ll be heading to the online store! Currently available to newsletter subscribers first (sign up here if you haven’t already!), any remaining pieces will be up for grabs at some point tomorrow. Here’s a little rundown of what you can expect… (Click through for more pics after the jump!)

Mini Many-me customs// Taking on Pop Soda’s awesome Many-me figure, Jon has 2 customs available to purchase, featuring either a red or green face for just $50 each.

Cupcake Guts UU//  Featuring a clear turquoise cast Ugly Unicorn, each of these ingenious figures has been fitted with a cupcake head inside! Priced at $35 each, these have been limited to just a couple of pieces.

Painted Dinos// A number of different painted sets are up for grabs, cast in a mix of yellow, clear green and black soft vinyl. Available alongside a whole host of singles, the figures have been priced at just $15 each, or $45 for the sets.

Dogosaurs// Jon has 2 of these bronto body/t-rex head mash-ups left. Painted in pink and purple striped sprays, they’ve been priced at just $15 each.

Cyclops Dino sets// All 3 dino sofubis make a return in both blank yellow and clear turquoise cast soft vinyl!  Available in super-limited numbers, the set comes in at $35.

Painted Gachapon Goblin Micros//  One painted micro UU and a few painted “Batboys” and “Slimeface” (Joseph Harmon’s characters) remain. Complete with a ton of sprays and brush work from Jon, these little dudes have been priced at $15 a piece.

Gachapon Goblin Micros// Cast in a pretty mint green soft vinyl, Jon is offering up the full set of unpainted Gachapon Goblins for just $50 all in- that’s a total of 7 figures PLUS the cupcake head!

Painted X-ray Uamous// The latest iteration of the ever popular Rampage x Uamou collab, the clear cast Uamou sofubis come painted with an acetate insert created by Jon. Priced at $40, each figure includes a painted Boo.

Madball of Death// The RAMPAGE exclusive neon green ball with pink insert returns for one final run! Priced at just $50 each, these are available in super-limited quantities.

MAN-E-NEWS// Moon Majin (Crescent) from Long Neck x Medicom…

Judging by Mr Yoda’s recent postings, it would appear Longneck will be teaming up with Medicom Toy for a “Crescent” version of the highly sought after Moon Majin sofubi! A follow-up to the Ooze-It inspired Yusei Majin, the figure comes with a “Le Voyage dans la lune” (A Trip to the Moon) inspired head and a pair of human hands, with this latest colourway being cast in a neon yellow soft vinyl with neon sprays and a rather clever, 2/3 blacked out face. News on the release is still pretty thin on the ground at the moment, but we’ll be hoping that with Medicom at the helm, there’ll at least be a slither of a chance that we’ll be able to pick them up in the West… Stay tuned for more new soon!

Mike Woods over at Falcon Toys has been cooking up yet another awesome creation for the ongoing Breaking Baddie series, proudly presenting Gumball! Kit-bashed from a vintage R2D2 action figure, the ingenious boot has been recast in resin, featuring a Gumball-red paint job, a coin turner/R2 mash-up chest decal, plus the piece de resistance… a clear cast dome head with miniature gumballs encased inside! Due to be going on sale in the Falcon Toys store at some point in November, each Gumball will come bagged with a custom sticker for just $35 a piece. Stay tuned for exact release details soon!

KaijuMonsteR have teamed up with Killer Krampus creator Mr Krotpong for an exclusive micro run of the figure! Limited to just 6 one-off hand paints, the 10″ tall figures have been cast in what appears to be a GID soft vinyl this time around, complete with 6 points of articulation, plus chains, beating sticks and a ‘naughty child’ accessory that can be split into 2 pieces and fitted in Krampus’ barrel backpack. In a slight change of direction for the established kaiju brand, Monstock have just revealed their first ever keshi-style figures, the Tsutenkakurobos! Available in either “Original” or “Retro” styled sculpts, the pair stand at around 6.5cm tall, coming injection moulded in an orange PVC rubber for this first run. Available in Japan via lottery through the Monstock blog for just 2,100yen each, interested parties in the West can currently secure both figures through forwarding service M-World. Originally debuting in limited numbers at NYCC last month, Grizlli Atom and Toys Are Sanity‘s debut sofubi mini series, The Old Ones, are set to make an appearance at Designer Con! Consisting of 3 mini figures and 4 omakes (micros), the 7 figures, designed and sculpted by Grizlli, have been inspired by Marvel’s legendary artist Jack Kirby, including stunning kaiju interpretations of the Hulk, Goom and the Thing. Cast in an unpainted flesh toned soft vinyl for the release, we’re guessing these will be up for grabs via the Lulubell Toys booth when the doors open next Saturday, November 9th…

Whilst we wait with baited breath for the release of their debut action figure, I Love Antix are proud to present something that’ll fill the gap rather nicely… the ANTIX Mini Bods! Designed to fit the previously released ANTIX heads (the very same that will feature in the main release), the figures have been digitally sculpted by iamscumbag based on the original ILA ant mascot, with production duties handed over to the more than capable hands of DuBose Art. Cast in a GID resin to match the main head colourway, the Mini Bods are up for grabs on the ILA store right here for $10 plus shipping… Please note that these are purchased separately from the heads. Brian Bunting has just revealed that The Galaxy People will have an exclusive at Design Fiesta this weekend! Focusing on just the one figure this time around, the bowl-headed MEKLOPS, the 4″ tall vintage pachi-style figure has been cast in a clear soft vinyl, coming with a mix of Pollock style splatters on the inside, and finished with black and silver sprays on the exterior. Priced at an estimated 2,500yen (approx. $25), we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that any leftovers make it to the Galaxy People store at some point next week…
