The elusive Healeymade is set to unleash his latest resin masterpiece onto the general public this Wednesday (9/25), the ghostly “Racer”! Seamlessly kit-bashed from what appears to be a vintage Kenner athlete statuette and Dungeons & Dragons-style figure, the beautiful piece has been split up into multiple parts, each coming cast in contrasting clear purple and white resins (with a 1 in 5 GID chase!). Pricing, edition size and drop time are still to be confirmed, so we suggest keeping a close eye on the Healeymade IG feed here for more info later today…

One of our favourite sofubi figures this year sees it’s first worldwide release, as Medicom Toy come with the latest version of Geek’s Jyujin (Basara)! Standing at a lofty 30cm of Japanese soft vinyl, the beast sports 5 points of articulation, this time replete with a mix of tan, black and red sprays. Up for grabs via lottery alongside Geek’s other new figure, Yaghan, entry details can be found on the Medicom Toy store right here. Priced at 15,750yen (approx. $160), interested parties are going to need to get their entries in by October 10th at 11.59pm Japan time…

Brandon Barker reveals the first ManOrMonster? Studios NYCC ’13 exclusive, the Spirit of Vador custom bootleg! Resurrecting MOTUMU’s Vador, the stunning figure has been kit-bashed from a number of different MOTU-centric toy lines, featuring 4 points of WoW compatible neo-mag articulation plus sword accessory. Cast in a clear resin this time around, the figure has been dyed using aqua Homebrew Paints, coming complete with matching, hand cut vinyl cape. Dropping at NYCC booth #114, the Spirit of Vador will be available in super-limited quantities for around $80 each…

Originally revealed here a few weeks back, Plastic Playhouse‘s Utrom (Krang) keshi is due for an official release soon! Sculpted to fit alongside Neca’s TMNT figures, a staple for the prolific customiser, the first batch have been cast in a flesh-tone rubber, coming with paint accents from the artist himself. News on the release of these is still pretty thin on the ground at the moment, but the figures’ producer, Eric Nilla, has confirmed that he will be unleashing his very own exclusive colourway sometime in late October/early November. Interested in having your say as to the choice of colour? Well then you’ll be glad to know that Eric is taking suggestions directly through his IG feed here. Stay tuned for release specifics soon!

Death Cat Toys‘ Johan Ulrich kindly shares details on his latest figure, intergalactic space mouse commander Muris! Hand sculpt and produced by Johan himself, the adorable little mini has been cast in a pearlescent white resin for this latest batch, each coming with unique, vintage kaiju inspired sprays in red, pink, green, black and blue. Limited to just 5 pieces this time around, the little guy is currently up for grabs at just $20 shipped in the US. Featuring a number of past releases including Whiskey Sasquatch’s Chibi Poo Shine, Meatgrinder, Deathmatch and Dungeon Bastard, the most interesting has got to be the NNWA “Pachi Big Match” set- which comes packed with kinkeshi flesh versions of Manzilla and Gyudome along with a Nama Niku branded wrestling ring! Due to go on sale at the Mitari booth this coming Sunday, September 29th, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for leftovers on the Mitari store soon after…

The warped mind of Patient No.6 spews forth yet another twisted slab of resin genius, proudly presenting the Pyscho Machine… One of the psychiatric-inspired artist’s most ambitious projects to date, the beautifully sculpted piece features a disturbing blend of flesh and machinery, with blade mounted arms, a tank lower half and naked female torso all adding greatly to the figure’s nightmarish feel. Primed and ready for production, the fully articulated resin will be available via pre-order through the Patient No.6 store in the near future. Already seeing super-limited releases at both SDCC and Wonderfestival, Mishka have just revealed that the Ghost Cave Cyco Ape will be making an appearance at NYCC next month! Designed by Lamour Supreme and sculpted by Atomic Vomit, it would appear that the 10″ tall beast is set to come cast in a black soft vinyl this time around, replete with blue/pink sprays and silver detailing. News on a specific release location and time are still to be confirmed, so we suggest keeping a close eye on both Lamour and Greg Mishka‘s IG feeds for more info closer to the event…

MAN-E-NEWS// The Galactic Jerkbag x Killer Bootlegs exclusive Glyos figure…

With the blessing of The Sucklord himself, fan site Galactic Jerkbags have teamed up with Killer Bootlegs for a super limited run of custom Glyos inspired by the artist’s original 2005 “Bootleg” figure! Conceptualised by GJ’s Irishmofo, the fully Glyos compatible figures were created by KB’s Peter Goral, featuring booted Micronaut Antron heads, standard bodies and hand cut, retro-styled vinyl capes. Painted by Goral in Monster Kolor’s clear “Very Grape” purple, each figure comes packed with a bonus scarfed Pheydon and header designed by HamFX. Limited to just 16 pieces for this initial run, the Glyos “Bootleg” will be heading to the Galactic Jerkbags site this coming Friday, September 27th for $40 each… Stay tuned for news on the next edition, a DCon exclusive green w/gold accents (plus claw arm), soon!

With both A and B sets released to instant sell-out success earlier in the year, Gargamel will be resurrecting their keshi-style minis for an exclusive Superfestival 63 release! Cast in a pale green resin this time around, all 10 designs are due to feature in one huge bagged and headed pack. Going on sale at the Gargamel booth next Sunday, September 29th for an estimated price of around 5,000yen (approx. $50), we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that remaining stock will be heading to the Mitari store soon after…

He’s been a while in coming, but thanks to Lee over at Bigmantoys, Zectron’s Kesh-E-Face will be making his debut in resin as part of the new Chrone O’Forms crossover set! Cast in a mix of clear Takara SF inspired clears with chrome sprays, the pack is due to feature Micro-Keshi, Microbry’s Mego Minis and Batt’l Bruiser from the original Clone O’Forms series, plus the big man himself. Touching down in the Bigmantoys store this coming Monday, 23rd at 6pm EDT, the Chrone O’Form 5 pack has been priced at $70, whilst Kesh-E will be up for grabs as a single for just $25…

The Tropical UU’s// Rampage Toys‘ popular “Ugly Unicorn” gets issued in a new hand-painted micro edition. These 4-inch tall “Tropical Ugly Unicorns” are limited to only 5 pieces worldwide, coming cast in a pink Japanese vinyl (sofubi). Price is $50 per figure.

Standing at approximately 4″ tall, the crushed skull has been rotocast by Monster Island in a blank black resin. After the instant sellout success of The Grump last week, Richard Page over at UME Toys has bowed to the requests of fans by introducing not 1, but 2 unique customs to his store… Entitled “Rotten” and “Mickey”, the pair have been given a few subtle additions, including hand sculpted worms and a rather sinister Mouseketeer hat, both painted in the familiar OG colourway with some added crimson splatters thrown in for good measure! Standing at around 8.5cm each, both Rotten and Mickey come signed, bagged and headed (with collectors card!) for just £35 plus shipping. Check them out in the UME store right here

MAN-E-NEWS// WIP M5 Bravo cutaway sculpt from Unbox Industries…

Posted on Instagram yesterday, it would appear Unbox Industries are working on a new ‘cutaway’ version of Jeff Lamm‘s M5 Bravo figure… Pictured here as a work in progress clay sculpt (we believe the original was digital), the close up image suggests that the piece will still feature the same proportions as before, albeit with a huge removed back section, revealing spine, ribs and innards! As with the previously posted “Rice Grain” Greasebat, we’re still not completely sure if this is just an experiment or a fully fledged production piece- but you can be sure that as soon as we find out, you guys’ll be the first to know!

Toy Art Gallery is proud to present 2 new exciting Paul Kaiju releases, the previously posted Metal Mockbats and the Anniversary Edition Luftkaiser! First offered as a sneak peak during the 2013 Anniversary Show last week, both are due to touch down tomorrow at special anniversary prices… Based on the original resin figure sculpted by Paul Kaiju, the Metal Mockbats are handmade, featuring magnetic articulation in the arms, legs, and head, as well as a movable stomach latch revealing the figures guts. Standing at 4 inches tall and coming in Gold, Silver, Copper (not available at this time) and Black Nickel, the supper limited figures have been priced at just $135 plus shipping… Joining the Mockbats, the black soft vinyl cast Anniversary Edition Luftkaiser features  a mix of gold, silver, teal, and red sprays. Standing at 4″ tall with articulation at the arms and waist, the Japanese produced figure comes at the special price of $45… Bargain! Expect both Luftkaiser and Mockbats in-store this Friday, September 20th at 12pm PST.

Originally released as a flesh-tone resin pack last month, Motorbot has heeded requests by fans by resurrecting the D.O.R.K custom bootleg mini figures in a keshi-style flexible plastic! Kit-bashed from a variety of gaming dice and M.U.S.C.L.E limbs, the figures will be touching down in the Meathead store later on today, available as singles, single coloured sets and multi sets, with seasonal releases (including a Halloween black/orange set) to follow soon after. News on pricing and an exact release time are still forthcoming, so we suggest keeping a close eye on Motorbot’s IG feed here for more details later on today…

Joining the previously posted Cannibal Gyudome and Nekos custom keshi, Rampage Toys have teamed up with Konatsu for another huge Superfestival 63 exclusive… fully painted runs of both Shibara and the uber popular Negora! Cast in a glow in the dark soft vinyl, the pair are currently undergoing Rampage’s trademark spray work, coming in a mix of neon and metallic VColor with hand painted detailing. NiStuff of the 481Universe has just revealed that he will be teaming up with myplasticheart for a joint NYCC/online Outlanders release! News is still pretty thin on the ground at the moment, but going by the above image we’re set to be treated to 2 different mixed part figures, produced in a factory painted black and clear red PVC. Due to touch down in the 481Universe store first on September the 27th at 9pm EST, the remaining stock (albeit in a different configuration) will be available at the myplasticheart NYCC booth next month… Stay tuned for a full reveal soon!
