Back after a brief hiatus from the toy scene, Jeff Beck over at Menace Inc Studios is proud to announce the first release under his 80’s inspired “Nostalgia Bomb” brand, the TMNT resin magnets! Initially limited to an exclusive online release, 6 different colourways will be available, with each of the 3″ x 2.5″ designs coming cast in a deep Jade resin, complete with unique hand painted detailing. Priced at just $15 plus shipping, the “6 Ritual Jades” TMNT magnets will be going on sale in the Menace Inc store on Monday, September 9th at 11am EST… Look out for fully painted colourways based on the 4 turtles, plus a set of 5 “City Fall Leo” variants at “The Art of Comics” show in Archdale NC on September 28th, and expect more from the Nostalgia Bomb label soon!

From the gleaming centre of The Thanatos Cluster comes the much anticipated Galaxxor 012! Sculpted by Ben Spencer and cast in glow in the dark resin by The Godbeast, the classically styled 5.5″ action figure features 2 points of articulation, coming packed in a traditional bag and header with exclusive card art by Steve Seeley. Limited to a run of just 5 this time around, Galaxxor 012 will be up for pre-order in the Galaxxor online store this Friday, August 30th at Noon CST for $100 a piece… But wait, there’s more! Ben has also stated that every Galaxxor 012 will come packed with a matching GID mini figure! MAN-E-NEWS// Unbox Industries’ Greasebat Gummi “Rice Grain” edition revealed…
Posted on Instagram earlier today, Unbox Industries come with their latest exploration into the world of mini figures… the Greasebat Gummi “Rice Grain” edition! Quite literally shrunk down to the size of a grain of rice and produced in the same MIMP-style rubber as the original Jeff Lamm minis, we’re left wondering as to the purpose of the project- Whilst it’s unlikely that we’ll see a general release of the figure (although we’ll be keeping our fingers firmly crossed!), the scale does open up a number of possibilities for accessories/add-ons in future Unbox mini releases… including our very own Disarticulator series next year! Stay tuned for the official word on the nano-sized fig soon.

Originally making an appearance at SDCC last month (and subsequently commanding extremely high prices on eBay), the latest resin keshi set from Gargamel will be heading online this weekend! Hot off the heals of February’s release, the latest pack consists of 5 all-new sculpts, cast up in an authentic keshi-gomu style flesh tone. Due to touch down in the Mitari store this Saturday, August 31st at Noon Japan time, expect to pay around 2,500yen (approx. $25) plus shipping. Supplies are going to be demand, so be sure to set an alarm for this one to avoid disappointment…

Just in time for STGCC this weekend, Fig-Lab have teamed up with Mighty Jaxx for an exclusive run of Finger 5 sofubis! Featuring 5 finger puppet designs from Paul Kaiju, the Sucklord, Lamour Supreme, Monstre Hero and Onell Design, the set have been cast in an unpainted soft red vinyl this time around. Likely to go on sale at the Mighty Jaxx booth for the usual asking price of around $50, expect any remaining stock to hit their online store soon after the event…

Adding to the already huge pile of soon-to-be-released figures, Rich over at Mutant Vinyl Hardcore has just revealed images of several different projects in the works at the moment, so without further adieu, we bring you a quick rundown of what’s coming up soon…
Krawluss Test Pull// A collaboration made in heaven, the humungous beast was co-designed by MVH and Skinner (one half each), with digital sculpting courtesy of Shinbone Creative. Pictured here as the very first soft vinyl test pull, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that the initial glow/gold preorder (plus a debut painted release!) will be soon to follow. Flying Freak DX// In reaction to Splurrt’s awesome Usir DX sculpt (revealed here), Rich has sculpted yet another DX head in a similarly gross style! Named the Flying Freak, the close-up shot (top right) that has been revealed so far has left us drooling for more… Expect a full reveal, plus an update on that previous MVH x Splurrt collab soon.
Asbestora DX// As if the Flying Freak wasn’t enough, MVH has has also got the legendary Paul Kaiju working on a new DX head sculpt too! An absolutely stunning addition to the already huge line-up of future DX’s, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for a joint release with MVH and Splurrt’s efforts before the year is out.
Mecha// A collaboration with Monster Worship, MVH’s last reveal is quite possibly the most interesting. Simply titled ‘Mecha’ for the moment, we’re really looking forward to seeing how both Rich and Monster5’s styles are implemented- judging by the first teaser, it looks like we’ll be receiving something akin to Mecha Greasebat- a definite plus in our books! MAN-E-NEWS(UPDATED)/ The “No-Zone” Sewer Creeps from D-Lux x Coma21…
We’ve already been treated to an awesome rendition of the Toxic Avenger by Dski One, so it came with great pleasure to find out that Coma21’s Sewer Creep is set to receive another Toxic Crusaders inspired run, courtesy of D-Lux! Inspired by Toxie’s sidekick No-Zone, the micro run has once again been cast in a light blue soft vinyl, coming with a multitude of super-tight sprays inspired closely by the character’s Playmates action figure (check him here). Release details are still thin on the ground at the moment, so be sure to keep checking the D-Lux and Coma21 Instagram feeds for more details soon…
UPDATE// Since our original post earlier in the week, Mikee Eiggs aka Coma21 has revealed that the No-Zone Sewer Creeps will be going on sale through the D-Lux store tonight (August 30th) at Midnight EST. Priced at just $60 plus shipping, each figure comes packed with a gnarly header card designed by Grizli Atom!
MAN-E-NEWS// The M.U.S.C.L.E Claw Iron Man custom from Ersico x 1Shot Toys…
Continuing the ‘Claw’ based coverage today, mini figure customiser Ersico comes with yet another interpretation of the iconic M.U.S.C.L.E figure! Recast by Eric Villanueva over at 1Shot Toys, the 1.5″ resin mini has been painted by Ersico in an Iron Man-inspired mix of red and gold with black detailing, coming complete with an “Arc Reactor” gem and clear coat finish. Joined by an equally cool Hulk-inspired piece (check it out here), the Iron Man Claw can be found in the Ersico store for just $17 plus shipping… Fingers crossed for some more Marvel-based Claw madness soon!
MAN-E-NEWS// Kozik’s Salary Usagi-Gon wax proto revealed…
Judging by Frank Kozik‘s recent Instagram post, it appears Usagi-Gon will be the latest KFGU figure to receive the ‘salaryman’ treatment! Pictured as a finished wax head sculpt, we’re guessing that the standard 8.5″ ‘Shadow Government’ body will be joined by all-new hands, plus the obligatory suitcase accessory. News on the soft vinyl figure’s release is still thin on the ground at the moment, but we’ll be expecting exclusives at both NYCC and DCon, along with an online release soon. Hot off the heels of the recent Jordy release, Retroband is proud to present the latest Creep Show character to get the custom bootleg treatment… Nathan Grantham, the miserly old (undead) patriarch from the film’s opening story, Father’s Day! Taking the same approach as with Jordy, Retroband has kit-bashed ‘Father’ from a variety of different vintage 3.75″ action figures, coming hand painted and packed in an authentic blister backer, this time around featuring incredible art work from Cody Schibi. Fresh from the success of the recent Heisenberg release, Healeymade comes with 2 all-new M.U.S.C.L.E/M.A.S.K custom bootlegs… Originally teased way back in May, the Claw custom, featuring a certain Venom bikers head, is now joined by another ingenious piece- featuring an unidentified helmet and an extra pair of grafted arms on M.U.S.C.L.E’s Neptune King body! Adam Saul of Cop A Squat Toys has teamed up with the legendary Skinner for a micro run of Semi Korosiyas! Designed by Adam and sculpted by Chauskoskis, the 8″ tall figures have been cast in a soft black vinyl this time around, coming in Skinner’s signature mix of metallic V-Color sprays to create the Black Iron Golems you see above. Packed with an exclusive ‘Dissected’ print and silk-screened header card, the evil, all-seeing Korosiyas have been limited to just 10 pieces this time around, touching down in the Critical Hit store this Thursday, August 29th at Noon PST for $225…

With the first test shots revealed just a couple of weeks back, Paul Kaiju has wasted no time in getting to work on the paint test for his latest figure, the Mockpilot! Cast in a bright green soft vinyl, the mid-sized companion piece to Mockbat comes with an alternate DADE helmet head, meticulously sprayed and brushed in a vintage sofubi inspired mix of contrasting pinks, metallics and blocked solids. Confirmed to be making an appearance at DCon later in the year, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for an online release in the meantime. MAN-E-NEWS// Meadowknight’s Dandylion and King Crumpet mini figure sculpts revealed…
As if the previously posted Alien Ghost Worm and Big Rad Wolf weren’t enough, Meadowknight proudly presents yet another 2 mini figure sculpts to add to her ever growing army of scene dominating designs! First up we have the rather evil looking Dandylion (second from the left). Originally released as a pendant design a while back, the cenobite inspired face sculpt has been retooled as a fully fledged mini figure, complete with a thick worm-like body and petaled maine! Joining Dandylion, Meadowkinight has also revealed the near-finished King Crumpet too. Taking a leaf from Big Rad Wolf’s book in terms of aesthetic, the King has a slightly more lighthearted (if still a little sinister) approach akin to Nickelodeon’s mid 90’s classics… A huge plus in our books! Word has it that both figures, along with the revised Rad Wolf and Ghost Worm, are just about ready to hit the silicone for production- so expect to see runs from both 1Shot Toys (resin) and our very own Tru:Tek (rubber) in the very near future!

Debuting at SDCC last month, Skinner‘s Minion sofubis return for a Lulubell Toys exclusive! Entitled “Rocket Pop Screaming Black Plague and the Living Bruise”, the pair of sofubi minis have been sculpted by Paul Kaiju, with production duties handed over to Luke Rook aka Grody Shogun. Cast in what we assume to be GID soft vinyl, with a multitude of sprays, rubs and hand painted detailing, the little guys will be touching down at the Lulubell Toys store next Friday, August 30th for just $55 a set plus shipping…

Previewed as a finished proto a couple of months back, Ralph Niese‘s Judas Biest is finally upon us! A love letter to MOTU and the 80′s Heavy Metal aesthetic (hence the Judas Priest reference!), the fearsome 5.5″ figure has been 95% hand sculpted using a mix of Castilene/CX5 sculpting wax, featuring 3 points of neo-mag articulation in both arms and waist. Hand cast in resin by Goodleg Toys, the initial run of 7 have been hand painted by Ralph in a stunning mix of black and red, complete with chest/mask embellishments and some beautiful dry brush work. Priced at $85 plus shipping, Judas Biest will be touching down in the Goodleg store this Sunday, August 25th at 7pm EST…

As if heeding our call in yesterday’s Hellopike Usir coverage, Joe Merrill aka Splurrt has just revealed the very first fully painted Cadaver Twins! Due to be making their debut online at some point next month, the incredible figure has been cast by Velocitron in a tan/flesh soft vinyl, coming with random eye inserts and layer upon layer of meticulous spray work from Joe himself. Release details are still pretty thin on the ground at the moment, so be sure to follow the Splurrt IG feed here for more info soon…
UPDATE// Following our post yesterday, Splurrt has decided to offer up a batch of Cadaver Twins via lottery! Entitled the “Saved From Incineration” edition, the micro run of 4 figures stand at 5″ tall each, coming with articulation in the neck, 3 legs and 3 arms, plus an absolutely stunning, multi layered paint job. Revealed here earlier in the week, the first batch of Rampage Toys‘ latest sofubi, the Gachapon Goblins, are now up for preorder! Featuring a total of of 7 1.5″-2″ tall Gachapon-ready figures, the little guys have been designed by Rampage Toys, Joseph Harmon, Walter Parenton (IV – Bobbybeast creator) and Art Junkie, with sculpting duties headed by Jon Malmstedt, Joseph Harmon, and AJ’s official prototyper. Available in an unpainted black soft vinyl as both blind-bagged singles ($10) and as a full set ($70), Rampage are also offering up a strictly limited batch of 5 fully painted sets at just $120 a pop.
