MAN-E-NEWS// The PR Heavy Industries Robots from Prometheum5…

Following a hugely successful debut at the recent Rise of the Robots group show, the final 2 ‘Heavy Industries’ robots from Prometheum5 are finally up for grabs in the FOE Gallery store! Featuring the 3.5″ (1/24th scale) Bounce Tortoise “Metro” and 7″ (1/12th scale) “Dessert”, the absolutely stunning creations have been individually 3D printed and hand painted by Prometheum’s Ben Mininberg. Priced at just $60 and $125 respectively, the pieces are up for grabs right here… Word is these guys will be heading in to full production soon, so be sure to keep track of the Prometheus Rising site here for more developments as they happen!

Toy Art Gallery has once again teamed up with Paul Kaiju for the release of Pollen Kaiser and Luftkaiser in pure unpainted GID! Cast in UV reactive glow-in-the-dark soft vinyl, Pollen Kaiser comes articulated at the arms, wrists and waist, featuring a doll eye and staff accessory, whilst little brother Luftkaiser features articulation at the arms and waist. Available exclusively from the TAG store today (February 20th) at 12pm PST, the 10” Pollen Kaiser is set to retail for $155 whilst the 4” Luftkaiser will be $45… orders have been strictly limited one of each toy per customer!

Custom bootleg artist 2bitHACK comes with his latest (and quite possibly greatest!) figure yet, the “Empire’n on a Budget” mash-up! Kit-bashing the legs of Star Wars’ iconic AT-AT walker with a Ford Econoline, the hilarious 3″ tall piece has been cast in a variety of different resin tints including the standard Grey, Army Men Green and Black. Fans of the adorable Cyclops Dino sofubi minis rejoice, as Rampage Toys have teamed up with airbrush magic-man D-LUX for the latest batch of dotty customs! Limited to 6 one-off sets, each trio of figures have been cast in a super-bright white vinyl, coming in a variety of dot sprays from D-LUX. Prolific resin artist Butch Adams of Butcher Brand has just revealed details of his first ever vinyl figure, the mighty Megara turtle kaiju! Standing at around 3.5″ tall, the soft vinyl cast figure has just been put up for pre-order on the Butcher Brand store in both black and GID unpainted colourways for a wallet friendly $35 plus shipping. As if the low bar of entry wasn’t enough, Butch is sweetening the deal even further by randomly inserting a few one-off customs into the mix, so if you fancy your chances be sure to head over to the store now to secure yours…

After the near-instant sell out success of the ‘Polar’ BearAll resin minis back in November, RhymeSquare are proud to reveal that the second wave is already primed and ready to drop! Standing at around 2″ tall, the bear has been designed, sculpted and painted by Jon Paul Kaiser, with prototyping and resin casting handled by our very own Tru:Tek. This time around coming in a ‘Grizzly’ inspired brown colourway, the figure is set to drop exclusively on the RhymeSquare store this Friday, February 22nd at 12noon GMT for just £14 each (international shipping included!). As we mentioned before, these proved extremely popular the first time around, so you guys better act quick to be in with a chance of nabbing one!

Joining the previously featured Ulric Wolfman, artist Mark Vasquez has just revealed shots of the latest ‘Mystical Warriors of the Ring’ mini figure, the humungous Goliath… Designed by Vasquez, digitally sculpted by Simon Grell, and soon to be produced by Marty ‘The Godbeast’ Hansen, the M.U.S.C.L.E compatible wrestler stands at little over 2″ tall with a width of 3.5″, making him one of the biggest characters in the line yet. Due to debut at April’s C2E2 with Ulric Wolfman in the series’ first 2-pack boxed set, expect to see some resin test shots along with firm release details in the near future…

Cast by Treegar creator Lee Burbridge of Bigmantoys in a mixture of swirled clear resin tints, the 5.5″ neo-vintage action figure has been given a pro black rub and Galaxxor-style neon yellow eyes by Ben. Limited to just 3 totally unique pieces, the “Psychedelic Nightmare” Treegars will be touching down in the Galaxxor store this Friday, February 15th for just $90 plus shipping…

The guys over at Tenacious Toys are excited to announce their new weekly calendar of micro-run art toy releases, the tentatively titled Super Series Sunday! Consisting of a different resin or custom run each week, the super limited pieces will drop on the Tenacious Toys store each and every Sunday for the foreseeable future… Starting this weekend, the first release will be coming in the form of DuBose Art‘s awesome Species 246 resin figure. Standing at around 3″ tall, the piece has been hand cast and dyed in an exclusive Tenacious Toys blue, finished with various shades of C-Thru sprays and an ultra-glossy clear coat top. Limited to just 10 in this exclusive colourway, each signed and numbered figure comes packed in a custom black box. Priced at $35, Species 246 will be dropping at 10pm EST on Sunday, February 17th right here… Stay tuned for news on next week’s SSS release from Scott Kinnebrew soon!

MAN-E-NEWS// The “Sacred Heart of Gato-lupe” and “Catnip Trip” custom Tuttz from Clinton Yaws…

Clinton Yaws has once again teamed up with Argonaut Resins‘ Eric Nocella for the latest pair of Tuttz customs, the gorgeous “Sacred Heart of Gato-lupe” and “Catnip Trip”… Taking inspiration from Argonaut Resins’ NYCC Gato Muerto stickers and shirts, the 6.5″ tall Gato-lupe depicts the sacred heart of the Virgin Mary wrapped in daisy flowers, with the head meticulously painted as a cat skull. To be sold with the original 5″x7” graphite concept sketch (pictured), Yaws will also be including the Sacred Heart necklace from his very own line of jewelry, Lunar Opus… Joining Gato-lupe, the artist has also revealed his first custom on the Mini Tuttz platform, the hilariously titled “Catnip Trip”. Standing at 3.5″ tall, the resin mini figure has been adorned with ‘catnip’ flower bloom that wraps around the piece from the back to the front. Coming packaged in a hand painted custom box, Catnip Trip will be dropping alongside Gato-lupe in the Argonaut Resins store in the very near future. Following the sell-out general release of H.U.S.T.L.E last week, our very own Tru:Tek is proud to present the latest ultra-limited H.U.S.T.L.E Artist Series: Wave 1 colourway… the Valentine’s themed “Love Muscle” edition! Featuring a closed selection of the original 10 M.U.S.C.L.E-inspired designs, the various kit-bashes, customs and original figures have been cast in a flexible keshi-style rubber, this time around with a marbled neon pink/red finish. ‘Cookies and Cream’ Cuddlehard// Using a black, Oreo inspired base with a ‘cream’ white rub, these guys come with the familiar OMFG ‘mouth’ face painted in a faithful selection of pink, blue and yellow. Limited to 4 pieces, these guys have been priced at $20 plus shipping.

Backed Cuddlehard ‘Fully Engorged’// Taking the original OMFG Series 2 backer, Turbopistola has created a run of original artwork that has been encased in clear resin and embellished with white paint. Featuring the ‘Fully Engorged’ Cuddlehard artist proof firmly embedded in the resin, the unique piece has been priced at just $25. An uncoated, figureless version is also available for $15.

The ever busy Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has been hard at work prepping a whole slew of releases for Valentine’s Day this Thursday, so without further ado we bring you the full rundown of the awesome selection of pieces that will be available…

“HAPPY Valentine’s UU” – clear red vinyl (the first coloured clear vinyl UU release!), coming with all sorts of metallic sprays and finishes. Some clear red blanks might make it up there too. Only a handful of this color were pulled, so these will be made to order.

“Starpox Wool” – The Rampage x Chima Group NYCC release- FINALLY going up for sale on-line! Lots of stencil action on these cute little dinos.

“Icy Carbon Freeze Stormtrooper” – Rampage’s collab with Kid Ink Industries! These fun resin figures (cast by Kris Dulfer – of Kid Ink Industries) have been given a bit of icy blue rub, and come bagged and carded with some fun header art and backer cards created by Kris. These have been limited to just 10 pieces.

Splurrt customs – These dudes are going for sale after hanging around the studio for a while. Featuring the incredible Shubbler mash-up and the masked Devil Diggler, you’re going to have to act quick on these to be in with a chance!

Expect to see this little lot to appear in the Rampage Toys store this Thursday, February 14th at around 6pm Japan time (4am EST)…
