MAN-E-NEWS// The Plaseebo Ice Scream Man customs for Día Del Helado Muerto…

Following his monumental “Great White” release featured here last week, Bob Conge aka Plaseebokindly shares details of his trifecta of customs for the upcoming Ice Scream Man Custom show (Día Del Helado Muerto)… Created as 2 companion pieces, “Ice Cream” and “I Scream” feature the standard vinyl ISM meticulously painted in a mixture of sprays and washes. “I Scream” is a particular favourite of ours, with Plaseebo removing the cone top and replacing it with a hand sculpted brain and internal LED unit in true neo-kaiju fashion! For the third piece, the Night Gamer Cone, Plaseebo has opted for the smaller Mini resin ISM, turning the cone the ‘right’ way up and replacing the skull with the vinyl head of a Night Gamer! Once again coming complete with an internal LED unit (motion activated this time around!), the GITD figure even features an extra light in the nose…

To be held at the new Beacon, NY Clutter Gallery Space, the Ice Scream Man Custom show is set to feature customs from some of the industry’s finest including  Brown Magic Paint Co. (the original Ice Scream Man customisers!), BrutherfordCarson CatlinChauskoskisDavid AyllonDrilOneFrank MysterioGrimsheepHonkeylipsJ★RYUJC RiveraJosh Longo, Julie B. of Pretty in PlasticLeeciferMark NagataMotorbotNathan HamillPlaseeboRsinScott WilkowskiSpanky StokesTrust PigsVoltaire and many more…

MAN-E-NEWS// The Squashworks Priest 8″ action figure from Imagination Asylum…

Imagination Asylum are proud to reveal their latest resin action figure this week in the form of the awesome Squashworks Priest! A prelude to their forthcoming Squahwork Orange character, the MEGO styled 8″ figure has been hand cast, coming complete with druid cloak, magic spell casters staff and menacing Jack’O Lantern head. Packaged in an authentic blister card, the Squahworks Priest is available in strictly limited numbers through the Imagination Asylum store for just $35 plus shipping… Stay tuned for more info on the Squahwork Pumpkin as soon as we get it!

Backstory// “A long time ago, during the days that Druids started to dwindle in numbers, as they were hunted down, there came the Squashworks Priests. A Golem was created using ancient spells complete with a pumpkin for a head to instill fear among those who would attack the Druids. It was suspected among those who encountered the pumpkin head golem that an evil spirit was cast into the golem, as many spoke of the golems love for cigars. To this day there are sightings of the Squashworks Priest once a year on All Hallows Eve or Halloween. Wether or not they existed,or exist now is a mystery.”

MAN-E-NEWS// The ToyCon “War Tourist” custom competition from runDMB x Planet Domu x JPK…
