Fresh from their sellout debut release just a few weeks back, the UGLYDOLL Mini Monsters from toy legends David Horvarth/Sun-Min Kim and Toy Art Gallery return this week in an all-new colorway! A  series of eight adorable mighty mites that features all of your UGLYDOLL favorites, including BABO, JEERO, OX, WAGE, BATTY, TARGET, ICE BAT and WEDGEHEAD, each figure stands at around 2″ tall and features a simple 2-part design. Produced in a gorgeous unpainted glittery pink sofubi, the little guys will be offered up at $12 each or just $72 for the full set. Look out for them in the TAG store at 12pm Pacific today (6/2)!

Tru:Tek’s “Pigu” Mimi Monsters and “Killed Kane” Gamarah…

Our very own Tru:Tek has teamed up with TAN for a very special painted run of Mimi Monsters this week, proudly presenting the Pigumimis! Coming in at around 5.5″ tall and featuring articulation in the neck, these slimy cyclops’ have been cast in a gorgeous orange vinyl this time, complete with metallic red, flesh, plum and black sprays inspired by classic kaiju infant, Pigumon. Limited to a run of just 5 pieces, these little guys will be going on sale in the Softoy Hobby store at a random time this Friday, June 3rd for $140 each plus shipping. But that’s not all… As a prelude to another upcoming micro-run release, Tru:Tek will also be offering up a one-off “Killed Kane” Gamarah via silent auction on Friday too. Designed and sculpted by Co.Oc29 for his ongoing Yokai Yu line, the 8″ tall amphibious kaiju has been cast in a green soft vinyl this time, coming with a multi-layered flesh paint app, copious blood splatters, plus a chest bursting worm omake inspired by the fateful Gilbert Kane scene from Alien. Available to bid on for a 24 hour period starting 0.00am – 23.59pm this Friday, June 3rd, interested parties will be required to direct message their maximum bid to Tru:Tek on IG (@trutek), with the highest securing the figure. Secret Base’s marbled double-por Skull Bee…

Hot on the heels of their recent Mixed Part Skull Brain release, the guys over at Secret Base have been hard at work on yet another beautifully produced fight figure… the marbled double-pour Skull Bee! Standing at around 5″ tall and featuring articulation in the head and arms, the classic piece has been treated to a rather unique casting process, coming in a clear vinyl that has been re-poured with a marble green and pink. Planet-X’s Twinclops sofubi revealed…

Up and coming sofubi producer Planet X are proud to announce that their first ever figure “Twinclops” will be making its debut very soon! A mash-up of the infamous 2-headed beast from 1962’s Jack the Giant Killer and Ray Harry Hausen’s classic Cyclops, the near 10″ tall, digitally sculpted creation comes with an impressive 6 points of articulation as well as a fully removable battle club. Angel Abby x P.P.Pudding’s Journey to the West sofubi prototypes revealed…

Angel Abby have joined forces with P.P.Puddng for a new line of sofubi minis based on Wu Cheng’en’s 16th century literary classic, Journey to the West! Featuring a total of 4 figures – what we can presume to be Monkey King, Zhu Bajie, Xaunzang and Dragon Prince Tang – each stands at around 3.5″ tall, feature 3 points of articulation, and in the case of Monkey King, comes with a cloud for the figure to sit in. Pictured here as finished clay prototypes, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that we see these in soft vinyl over the next couple of months…

Secret Demon Services’ “Prince” Smalmack and “Marbled” Dani…

Making a welcome return this weekend, Secret Demon Services‘ Smalmack will be touching down in-store alongside a “Marbled” Dani today in an all-new “Prince” colorway! Standing at around 8.5″ tall and featuring 5 points of articulation, the horned beast comes complete with Dani arms, custom striped, hand threaded beard, and subtle purple/black sprays over milky white vinyl. The latest Dani on the other hand, has been kept unpainted this time around, coming cast in a gorgeous GID/blue vinyl with matching Dani’s Door omake. Priced at $90 and $60 respectively, the pair will be touching down in the SDS store at 11pm London time today (5/29)… But that’s not all! To all those that ever wondered how Dani came to be, you’re in luck, as SDS’ Kyle Renard has teamed up with artist James Lawrence for a special “The Origin of Dani” comic strip! Printed on a single sheet of authentic vintage comic paper, the beautifully illustrated Volume 1 will be going on sale alongside Smalmack and Dani for just $10…

Mutant Vinyl Hardcore’s Doji San 3.0 prototype revealed…

Rich over at Mutant Vinyl Hardcore has just unveiled the latest prototype he’ll have winging its way over to Japan for soft vinyl production soon, the awesome Doji San 3.0! Originally released in resin and quickly followed up in soft vinyl, this third interpretation of the yokai-inspired monster comes with a number of new design elements, including much needed articulation in the arms and legs, a plethora of new masks, plus a “super duper” surprise that we’re told will be revealed in due course. Currently undergoing the final stages of tweaking before production, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for the little guys’ first release over the next few months…

The Toyful exclusive “Warsman” NSC-Childhood sofubi…

Japanese retailers Toyful have secured an exclusive version of Five Star Toy’s Warsman [Nikolai] Childhood sofubi! The first character to feature in the officially licensed “Nostalgic Sofubi Collection” Kinnimuman series, the chibi-styled Warsman stands at around 4″ tall, coming with articulation in the arms, waist and neck. Cast in a gorgeous unpainted neon pink sofubi for the release, the Toyful exclusive Warsman will be touching down in limited numbers right here on Sunday, May 29th for just 4,500yen plus shipping…

Plugman (originally G.R.U.P Design) are proud to announce the return of their “Rimey” Midnight Parade sofubi this week! Standing at around 4″ tall and featuring 2 points of articulation, the Kenth Toy Works sculpted piece is currently up for grabs in a number of both new and previously released colorways; the BB-filled “Pop Dream”, priced at 6,800yen ($62), the black base “Hollow Violet” and “Hollow Blue” for 4,000yen ($36), plus the gold accented “Kurogane” clear “Citron Orange” and “Peach Clear”, also priced at 4,000yen ($36) each. Previewed just a few days back, Grizlli Atom‘s Squeakshow sofubi will be making its debut this week! Featuring a total of 5 different figures; Lil’ Grizlli (A) and (B), Pashka and Lil’ Jimmy Ken; the vintage-style squishy toys have been produced in a super soft vinyl complete with squeaker in the base. Having worked on numerous paint runs together in the past, long time buddies Jon Malmstedt of Rampage Toys and Bwana Spoons of Gravy Toys have finally joined forces to work on an all-new sofubi release…  the unlikely duo Paleo Don and Morel Black! Co-designed by the pair with sculpting and production courtesy of Rampage, the dapper looking figures feature a suited body in a similar action figure-vein to the Suns of Brodarr line, with interchangeable Don/Morel head and arms from RT and GT respectively. Styled to look like the classic sofubi minis of the 1980’s, the 4″ tall figure features articulation in the arms and waist, coming complete with his signature whip. Debuting exclusively at Powercon via the Super7 booth on June 4th in an unpainted “Prototype” green soft vinyl, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for Beastman’s first general release soon…

Candie Bolton x Grody Shogun’s “Foofy” Boshineko at Lulubell Toys…

Following the success of their latest Quackers run, Grody Shogun and Candie Bolton have once again paired up for another sofubi release… the adorable “Foofy” Boshineko! Sitting tall at around 6″, the 2-part cap wearing kitty has been produced by Grody in a white soft vinyl, coming with neon sprays and spot detailing from Candie that have been inspired by fellow artist Lisa Frank (the little guy has also been named after Candie’s own cat too!). Blurble’s “Fukster Mouse” YouZha micro-run…

Kearjun has joined forces with Blurble for the latest painted run of YouZha zombies, proudly presenting the Fukster Mouse edition! Standing at around 8″ tall and featuring 5 points of articulation, the soft vinyl figure – inspired by Fulcu’s cult classic Zombi 2 – has been produced in black this time around, coming with red, yellow, flesh and white sprays that pay homage to Disney’s figurehead. Whilst exact info on the release is still thin on the ground at present, we can confirm that there’ll be at least 4 figures in the run that’ll be touching down in the Blurble store this Friday, May 26th at 5pm Pacific.
