Angel Abby have teamed up with tattoo artist Marcus Yuen for the release of an all-new soft vinyl figure, the awesome Rocket Boy! Whilst little is known about the origin of the figure, it would appear that the vintage-styled astronaut has been designed by Yuen and produced by Angel Abby, presumably standing at a mid-sized 5″-6″ and featuring 3 points of articulation. Debuting in a yellow vinyl with sprays from Angel Abby, Rocket Boy will be making his first appearance at Milk Magazine’s Milk Mart event that’ll be running at Hong Kong’s White Whale store this weekend (1/5-1/6). Here’s hoping any leftover make it online soon after!

MAN-E-NEWS// Video V0mit’s “Zangotchi” keshi mini figure revealed…

Whilst we rather impatiently wait for the release of VideoV0mit‘s debut sofubi “Zangotchi” – it was first teased here way back last December – the kaiju customiser-come-toy designer has just revealed that he’ll be releasing an scaled down keshi version of beast first! Sculpted in a Bikkuriman-inspired style by none other than KtoKto, the little guy stands at just over 3″ tall, coming with the same chest skull, tentacled arms and shark-like head as the original 9″ rendition. Due to be produced in both a keshi-like rubber and resin later this month, be sure to stay tuned for full release details soon…

First seen in limited quantities at DCon ’15 a couple of weeks back, the “GID” Big Uamou soft vinyl figure from Uamou x Unbox Industries is now finally up for grabs online! A perfectly up-scaled rendition of Uamou’s classic horned mini, the toy-come-art piece stands at just under 12″ tall, coming complete with one point of articulation in the neck. Produced by Unbox in a glow-in-the-dark vinyl with minimal black painted detailing, the “GID” Big Uamou can currently be found in the Uamou online store right here for just 12,000yen ($98) each plus shipping.

Whilst his latest figure “Tit Tot” (pictured middle) quickly sold out over the weekend, Joe Truck of Snatch Punch Creature Cartel is proud to reveal that a limited batch of “Psychedelic Swamp” and “Sherbet” Bostyrant sofubi will be up for grabs online later today! First seen at Designer Con ’15, these hand painted micro-runs have been produced in a mix of pink and GID soft vinyl, each coming with a number of sprays and brushed detailing courtesy of Joe. Pricing and edition size for the pair is still to be confirmed, so be sure to keep checking the store here throughout the day to avoid missing out!

T9G has just unveiled the 2016 version of his ever popular mid-sized “Rangeas” sofubi! Standing at around 8″ tall and featuring 3 points of articulation, the googly-eyed monster has been produced in a black soft vinyl this time around, coming with stunning metallic blue, red and gold sprays. Going on sale in Japan through retailer UNTOLD/DayLife starting November 30th for 9,180yen ($75) plus shipping, we’re told to expect a worldwide release at some point in February 2016…

Japanese toy retailer Toyful will be celebrating their 5th Anniversary next month with the auctioning of 2 stunning “Fugaku” one-off Enma Ollie customs from BLObPUS and Mutant Vinyl Hardcore! Cast in what appears to be a black soft vinyl, the pair – dubbed Fugaku “Red” and “Blue” have been treated to a hand sprayed and brushed paint app courtesy of BLObPUS that depicts Mount Fuji in a traditional Japanese style. Going on sale to Japanese customers through the Toyful store via online auction from December 5th through to December 11th, the starting price has been set at 37,760yen ($308) each- a nod to Mount Fuji’s 3776ft altitude. These are said to be the last ever Enma Ollie customs before the figure is retired, so be sure to get a bid in if you’re a fan of the piece!

Illustrator-come-toy artist Joe Whiteford has just unveiled his latest custom creations, the incredible “Freddy Krueger” and “Darth Maul” Iron Monsters! Utilising Miscreation Toys‘ highly popular Phantom Creeps send-up, the impressive 14″ soft vinyl figures have both been treated to Whiteford’s signature earthy sprays, washes and hand brushed detailing in colors inspired by the customs’ silver screen namesakes. Touching down in the artist’s store this coming Friday, December 6th, the pair have been priced at just $300 each plus shipping. Candie Bolton has very kindly shared some info on her first ever kaiju figure, the jaw-dropping Phantom Whale “Bake-Kujira”! Inspired by Japanese folklore and the king of kaiju, Godzilla (Gojira is a combination of the word “gorilla” and “kujira” the Japanese word for whale), the 11″ tall beast is currently undergoing soft vinyl production courtesy of Toy Art Gallery, with a release set for early 2016… Look out for more news on Bake-Kujira’s development soon!

Standing at around 7″ tall and coming with 5 points of articulation as well as a fully removable ceremonial mask, the creepy peanut diety has been produced by Unbox in a striking mix of clear green and red soft vinyl. Created to fit on the standard 6.5″ Gero body, the pair – designed and sculpted by SxO and UnaffiliatedSJ respectively – both come complete with an all-new head, arms and either brick or concrete building omake. Sadly not for sale at the event, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that the pair make their debut in the SxO store some time before the year is out…

The “Sunburst” Oozeball micro-run// Limited to an edition of just 3 pieces, the Tru:Tek-designed, Zectron-sculpted ball has been produced in a non-squishy flesh tone soft vinyl this time around, coming with yellow, orange and purple sprays over a detail hugging rub. Finished with hand painted detailing and a protective gloss coat, these come packed in a drawstring bag for $75 each.

The “Garaball” Oozeball micro-run// The second micro-run to feature the Disarticulators’ Oozeball, these have once again been cast in a flesh vinyl, this time coming with metallic blue, teal and red sprays inspired by M1GO’s classic Blue Garamon colors. Limited to a run of 3, these have also been priced at $75 each.

The Mini Mockbats from Unbox Industries// The wait is finally over, Unbox have just revealed that Paul Kaiju‘s Mini Mockbat will be making its debut at DCon! Digitally scaled down from the original sculpt to around 3.75″, the fully articulated figure has been reproduced in a variety of different colored soft vinyl, with 4 versions available each day at the con for just $40 each.

The BC Blasters from James Groman x TAG// Another project we’ve been waiting an age to arrive, the BC Blasters from James Groman will finally be making an appearance at Toy Art Gallery‘s DCon booth! DCon ’15 exclusive Goodon from Kearjun// Kearjun‘s latest vinyl figure “Goodon” will be making an appearance at the Urban Vinyl Daily booth (#707)! Limited to just 4 one-offs painted up by Kearjun himself, these will be available for $250 each.

Krotpong’s DCon booth// Toy artist Krotpong has revealed that he’ll have over 100 different figures up for grabs at his booth (#1028) this weekend! Featuring painted runs of both the Humunculord minis and Kanzler Arschloch, these are joined by various one-off customs including a trio of Seijin brothers. Pricing and edition size are still forthcoming.

TKOM and Kikkake at the TAG booth// Alongside a whole host of new sofubi, painted runs and customs, Toy Art Gallery are proud to reveal that they’ll have new works from both TKOM and Kikkake up for grabs at their booth! Whilst TKOM will be unleashing a painted edition of his TAG-produced Double Think, Kikkake has sent over a number of one-off customs, including the gorgeous space Iron Monkeys you see above. The Punk Drunkers DCon booth// The guys over at Japanese lifestyle brand Punk Drunkers have just unveiled a whole host of exclusives they’ll have up for grabs at their booth! Featuring the return of their “Guy” Man collaboration with RealxHead in what appears to be Star Trek-themed colors, these are joined by a fresh batch of Onion Fights’ “Guy” keshi, “Fortune Guy” minis, plus the latest “Guy” Kiaidakun from Goccodo. Pricing, edition size and booth number are all still to be revealed.

The “Jet Jaguar” Iron Monster sofubi from DSKI-ONE// Joining the previously posted “Blood Worm” Cestoda and “Blind Body Bag” Autopsy Babies, Miscreation Toys will have a special run of “Jet Jaguar” Iron Monsters up for grabs at their booth (#223)! Painted up in the classic tokusatsu character’s silver, blue, yellow and red by none other than DSKI-ONE, these hulking 15″ tall figures are likely to set you back around $250 each.

The “JP2” Evil Mc sofubi from BlackBook Toy// BlackBook Toy will be unleashing a special “JP2” version of Ron English’s Evil Mc sofubi! Cast in a black vinyl and treated to a Jason Pollock-style paint app courtesy of sculptor Chop over at Monster Farm, this limited run of just 4 figures will be available at the BB booth (#902) for an undisclosed sum.
