Featuring “Frank”, “Kong”, “Spaceman” and “Mummy”, the KO Universal Monsters stand at around 8″-9″ tall each, coming with articulation in both the arms and neck. MAN-E-NEWS// The “Flesh” and “Lime” Mad Wrestlers keshi from Monster Island x Disart ToyLabs…

Originally seeing a limited resin release at Toy Art Gallery back in May, the Mad Wrestlers from Monster Island are finally getting a release in rubber courtesy of the Disart ToyLabs this weekend! Heavily inspired by the Weirdballs mini figure off-shoots, these ingenious little guys feature modified KO Madball popper heads that have been kit-bashed with a number of different M.U.S.C.L.E bodies. Featuring a total of 6 different designs from Monster Island’s Paul Bas – 3 more than the original release – the group have all been recast by the Disart ToyLabs’ Tru:Tek in a flexible, UV resistant rubber. Coming packed on authentic, hand cut “Madballs Vs. M.U.S.C.L.E” cardbacks featuring art from AshMadeThis, the figures will be making their keshi debut in 2 different limited edition colorways – a vibrant “Lime Green” and the standard “Flesh-tone” – both coming in at just $55 a set plus shipping. Dropping as part of a unique, cross-Atlantic release, expect to see the flesh set touch down in the Man-E-Toys/Disart store on Sunday, September 6th at 3pm GMT (10am Eastern), whilst the lime will be making an appearance in the Monster Island store on the same day 5 hours later at 3pm Eastern… Look out for details of the next DCon exclusive release soon!

Cherri Polly over at Baketan is proud to reveal that their Nenne, Nei and Chi Chi sofubi are set for release in a special “Silver Gothic” colorway next week! Standing at around 4″ tall and featuring 2 points of articulation, the adorable trio have been treated to chromed metallic silver sprays, each coming complete with a stunning antique-style black patina rub. Touching down in the Baketan store next Monday, September 7th at 11am Japan time, each figure will set you back $120 plus shipping…

Coming a little later than expected this year, Super7‘s 14th Anniversary Lucky Bags will finally be up for grabs later this month! Available in 2 different sizes, each bag comes complete with a variety of limited edition pieces, including large, medium and small sized figures, unseen and unknown samples and tests, one-of-a-kind hand-painted custom pieces and other random rarities- with no two bags alike… Up for grabs at $275 for the large (six figures) and $125 for small (3 figures), the bags will be touching down in the Super7 store as part of the retailer’s anniversary celebrations on Saturday, September 26th at 8pm Pacific time…

MAN-E-NEWS (UPDATED)// Skullmark’s “SkullWorld Warriors” sofubi revealed…

Wasting no time since the final release in their debut series “Galaxy Commanders” last week, the team behind Skullmark are proud to reveal that their next upcoming sofubi project – the “SkullWorld Warriors” – is already entering the final prototyping stages! As with the Galaxy Commanders, the series has its foot planted firmly in the world of vintage knock off action figures, this time around drawing inspiration from the classic Underworld Warriors of the 1980’s. Featuring a similar, albeit slightly chunkier body to the original 5.5″ figures, the upscaled series is set to include all 6 heads – Krampus, Cobraman, the Devil, Skull, Goblin and Witch – from the original line. Due to go on sale via preorder in the Toy Underground store next week, we’re told that all 6 designs will be available as a complete set from the off. Stay tuned for a full reveal in vinyl, plus those all important release details, over the next few days…

UPDATE// The “Skullworld Warriors” are now up for grabs via preorder through the Toy Underground store right here! Standing at 10.5″ tall and featuring 8 points of articulation each, the stunning figures are initially available as a complete set ahead of “single” releases early next year. Limited to 30 painted sets and just 20 blank, these can be yours for just $450 and $390 respectively… Look out for details of the single releases in Q1 2016!

Hot on the heals of the recent “Shibuya” edition, Jeff Soto is proud to reveal that his collaborative figure with BlackBook Toy – the “NekoFukurou” – has returned for a special “Mt Fuji” artists edition! Featuring an ingenious stackable design, the stunning 2-faced “Cat/Owl” stands at around 6″ tall on its own- an impressive 30″ stack when displayed with the previously released editions. Produced in what appears to be a clear soft vinyl this time around, the “Mt Fuji” NekoFukurou has been treated to a mix of icy white, blue and black sprays with green eye detailing. Limited to an edition of just 50 pieces, the figure can currently be found residing in Soto’s Stormcloudz store right here for just $50 plus shipping…

Continuing his seemingly never ending onslaught of releases this year, Paul Kaiju has just revealed details for a surprise “Bruiser” Mockbat raffle this weekend! Easily one of the most eye catching painted runs of the 6″ beast so far, the stunning figure has been cast up in a bubblegum pink soft vinyl, coming with an explosion of vivid metallic blue, purple and black sprays. Packaged alongside a matching Hellmock mini with chained Mockbeast omake for just $150 plus shipping, anyone looking to bag the piece is going to need to fill out the dedicated raffle form that’ll be appearing on the artist’s site (click the “Raffle Open” tab on the front page) this Sunday, September 6th at 6pm Pacific time. Max Toy Co‘s Mark Nagata is proud to reveal that he’ll be unleashing a hand painted run of “Mushroom Monster” Kaiju Kinora sofubi online this week! Originally created by artist Kaori Hinata as part of last year’s Kaiju Gals contest, the adorable little fungi has been sculpted by TTToy’s Makino-san at a Monster Boogie-compatible 3″ tall. Produced in a grey soft vinyl this time around, the figure has been treated to a detail hugging black rub, gold detailing and simple green, red and yellow sprays courtesy of Nagata. Touching down in the Max Toy store this coming Friday, September 4th, expect to pay around $30 plus shipping for the piece…

Louie Chavez aka Slime Time is proud to reveal that his Troma-tinged “Nuke Beach” series is set to return this weekend with a bunch of new figures in-tow! Bringing back the original “Fukushiman” and “Chum Bucket” in unpainted “Hyper” colorways, the super-chunky 5″ tall resin figures will be joined by Louie’s all-new sub series, the “Mini Mutants”, a collection of 3 companion parasite figures that sit perfectly alongside the original cast. Produced in 4 different colorways this time around; red, silver, green and raspberry, each 4″ tall figure has been heavily infused with glitter, coming complete with a number of contrasting masked sprays courtesy of master painter Goto. Limited to just 5 in each color, the “Glitter Ranger” Nibblers can currently be found right here in the Fig-X store for just 5,500yen ($45) each plus shipping…

Hinted in our recent coverage right here, we can now reveal that TTToy’s latest officially licensed IWA Japan Pro Wrestling sofubi – the mighty “Chupacabra” – has been granted a worldwide release courtesy of Lulubell Toys! The fifth figure to feature in the ongoing series, the infamous reptilian wrassler has been faithfully realised by TTToy’s Makino-san, standing in-scale with previous releases at around 4.5″ tall and coming with similar articulation in the waist and arms. Produced in what appears to be a green soft vinyl with authentic cream, metallic green, red and silver sprays, the beast’s first colorway can currently be found in the Lulubell store alongside an all-new “GID” Yeti and “Brown” Bigfoot for just $30 each plus shipping…

MAN-E-NEWS// Anraku Ansaku x Medicom Toy’s “Pokopon the Raccoon” and “PanFutoshi Ron” sofubi revealed…

With the past 2 months seeing Medicom Toy re-release Anraku Ansaku’s legendary “Zoromederu” and “Gogamejira”, the Japanese toy giant is planning to go one step further with their next collaboration, unleashing all-new figure “Pokopon the Raccoon” (たぬきのぽこぽん) and variant “Panda/PanFutoshi Ron” (パンダのぱん太ロン). Beautifully sculpted in classic vintage sofubi proportions, the adorable duo share the same general body and shape, differentiated by Pokopon’s longer tail and Ron’s cap and vinyl waist coat. Standing at just under 10″ tall and featuring 6 points of articulation, the pair have been produced in what appears to be pink and GID soft vinyl for their first outing, coming complete with matching masked black, cream and blue sprays. Going on sale via open preorder through the Medicom Toy store starting Thursday, September 24th, both have been priced at just 10,800yen ($89) each plus shipping. But that’s not all! As an added buying incentive, anyone who purchases both figures will also receive unpainted heads and tails of both Pokopon and Ron… Time to start saving!

Mark Nagata over at Max Toy Co will be teaming up with toy retailer Kaiju Legion this week for an exclusive run of Kaiju Axron sofubi! Standing at around 10″ tall and featuring 4 points of articulation, the raging dino has been produced in a flesh tone soft vinyl this time around, coming complete with a mix of vibrant green, red, yellow and brown V Color sprays courtesy of Max Toy’s Mark Nagata. Touching down in the Kaiju Legion store at some point this Wednesday, September 2nd, expect to pay around $75 plus shipping for the beast…

Once again bowing to the request of international collectors, the guys over at Convict are proud to announce that Wazuri/Mirock’s “Kurozou” Elephant sofubi is finally available worldwide this week! Standing at around 6″ tall, the beautifully realised 2-part piece has been produced in a sleek glossy black soft vinyl this time around, coming complete with minimal red, metallic purple and gold sprays. Priced at $80 plus shipping, the “Kurozou” Elephant is up for grabs via e-mail lottery starting today (9/1). Having already seen two sell-out drops this year, the “Robo Top” resin spinning top from Inami Toyland‘s Kevin Nam returns by popular demand for a special “Nightfall” release! Coming in at around 2″ tall by 2″ wide, the fully working, hand sculpted spinning top features an ingenious “rock, paper, scissors” style mechanic, with each of the robot’s hands (clenched, 2 fingers up and 3 fingers up) representing the game’s 3 choices. Produced by Kevin in 2 different sunset-inspired colorways for this release, an unpainted “Warm Orange” and “Cool Blue”, both have once again been limited to an edition of just 10 pieces each. Coming poly-bagged with an admission ticket-style header card, the latest round of Robo Tops will be touching down in the new Inami Toyland store, on Thursday, September 3rd at 9pm Eastern time for just $15 each plus shipping. Previewed early last week, we can now reveal the one-off mash-up run from Slave x One and STKL in-full! Unlike previously thought, the release is set to feature a total of 5 one-off customs featuring the 2 different “Uneasy Joe” heads with the “Gero” body – we suspect a similar release with the Joe bodies soon – each coming with a plethora of metallic sprays and blood splattered detailing courtesy of SlaveOne’s Adam T. Going on sale in the SxO store this coming Friday, September 4th at Noon Central time, the “Uneasy Geros” have been priced at just $65 each plus shipping…

Originally offered up as part of the Fake Baron “Episode 2” Battle Set release a couple of weeks back, the stunning “Fake Commander” from Skullmark and Awesome Toy is now up for grabs as a standalone figure! Featuring the all-new body design from Skullmark’s ongoing “Galaxy Commander” line, the piece rather ingeniously has a new head sculpted by Awesome Toy based on their recurring Fake Baron character. Produced in the same blue vinyl with black masked sprays and chest insert as the original release, Commander Baron has been limited to just 30 pieces priced at $79.99 each. Yep, yet more Angel Abby-related news today, as Shoko Nakazawa and T9G proudly reveal that the Hong Kong leg of their ongoing “SxT” show will be touching down at the retailer’s space this coming Friday, September 4th! Featuring many of the same pieces that were on display at Singapore’s Paradise, these will be joined by a few exclusive runs, including the pictured “Pink Glitter” Byron and gorgeous “GID” Rangeron – a release that perfectly mimics T9G’s (pictured) GID Rangeas that was released way back in 2007. Whilst details are still be to be confirmed with regards to post-show sales, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that a few of both Byron and Rangeron are held back for an online release soon after…

After months of teasers on Instagram, Shigeo Endo over at Bukimi Blasters is proud to reveal that his third sofubi, Psycho Monster “The Mole Man” will finally be up for grabs in it’s “Phase 1″ colorway next week! Designed and hand sculpted by Shigeo, the hideous creation appears to be much taller than past releases at around 8” (TBC), coming complete with 5 points of articulation and an as-yet-unrevealed omake accessory for the “reeding of the Mole Man”. Produced in an unpainted glow-in-the-dark soft vinyl for this first release, the Mole Man will be touching down in the Bukimi Blasters store via limited preorder starting Friday, September 4th at 9pm Eastern time, coming in at 12,000yen ($98) plus shipping… Here’s keeping our fingers crossed for the first fully-painted release soon!

Originally teased in our coverage of Joe Whiteford’s custom a couple of weeks back (check it here), we can now finally reveal Blackseed‘s “Marshmallow Uncle” sofubi in-full! Designed and digitally sculpted by Blackseed’s Kenneth Tang and produced by Angel Abby, the stunning figure has been heavily inspired by Ghostbusters’ Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, featuring a similar “bubble” design that features a number of additional resin cast parts, including a Alien-esque chest busting parasite, eyes, teeth and sailor hat… Making it’s debut as part of a group exhibition at Angel Abby’s Hong Kong-based store soon, the figure is due to touch down in 3 different colorways; the pictured “OG” white, unpainted clear and GID, coming in at just $700HK ($90) each. Look out for more details on both the figure and event over the coming weeks…
