After months of painstaking planning and development, resin artist Tim Stephson over at Ultimate Skull & Cobra is proud to reveal that not one, but two monumental new figures will be touching down in his store later this week! First up, we have Stephson’s loving tribute to Godzilla, the King Kaiju. Inspired by the classic garage kits of old, this humungous piece features in excess of 40 separate hand sculpt and cast resin pieces, including individually assembled GID dorsal plates as well as magnetically articulated arms. Limited to an initial run of just 5 pieces – each coming painted up in their own unique colorway – the King Kaiju will be up for grabs at just $150 plus shipping- a snip when you consider the sheer amount of work that’s gone into each one!

Next up, we have the super-creepy “Uchu Kaijin”… Heavily inspired by HR Geiger’s extensive body of work, the gruesome alien baby has been designed and hand sculpted by Stephson, coming rotocast in resin – a first for USaC – with several additional layers painted internally for extra strength. Limited to an edition of just 4 pieces – each coming in their own unique colorway and packed with an original painting – the Uchu Kaijins will be joining the King Kaijus in the USaC store this coming Friday, March 27th at 7pm Central for just $100 each plus shipping…

Hot on the heels of this week’s “Vatundoo” sale, BLObPUS is proud to reveal yet another leftover from last weekend’s Osaka Soft Expo is now up for grabs, the “Raspberry Monster” Vertabrata! Designed by BLObPUS, sculpted by Paul Kaiju and produced by Toy Art Gallery, the stunning piece has been cast in a white soft vinyl this time around, complete with gold, black and “raspberry” red colored sprays.  The guys behind new sofubi imprint Tonite are proud to reveal that their debut sofubi from their ongoing “King of Kink” series – “Taro the Immortal” – is now available for overseas sales! Originally produced by well known Kaiju toy shop “Kaiju-Taro”, the figure unfortunately proved unpopular amongst the majority of sofubi collectors at the time, so with the shop now closed and having stumbled upon the molds by chance, ex-Kaiju-Taro employee TerribleWhore has teamed up with the figure’s original designer, hummingburger, to give it the proper release it deserves. Standing at around 3.5” tall, the 2 part figure has been produced in a flesh soft vinyl for this “OG” release, coming with a mix of green, silver and black sprays. Housed in a plastic display chamber as well as a custom header baggie, the unique looking piece can be yours for just 2,000yen ($17) plus shipping.  The guys over at Lulubell Toys are proud to reveal that they’ve secured a limited batch of the latest version of TTToys’ Bigfoot sofubi! Originally making an appearance as an exclusive at the Osaka Soft Expo last weekend, the official IWA Japan licensed figure has been produced in a black soft vinyl for the release, coming complete with minimal metallic blue sprays and silver hand painted detailing. Up for grabs in the Lulubell store right here whilst in-tranist supplies last, the Osaka Soft Expo exclusive Bigfoot can be yours for just $30 plus shipping…

 Illustrator Joseph Harmon has just revealed that yet another of his unique creations will be making the leap into the world of toys this week, proudly presenting the “Trash Wizard” resin action figure! Standing at around 3.75” tall and coming with 2 points of articulation, the originally sculpted piece has been produced in resin and hand painted by Harmon in a faithful mix of green, black, red and gold acrylics. Limited to an edition of just 10 figures – each coming blister mounted on a card backer alongside a “unique” piece of trash – the Trash Wizards will be touching down in Harmon’s store this Friday, March 27th for $60 shipped within the US.  Johan Ulrich over at DeathCat Toys has just revealed that he will be the latest artist to take on Blood Guts Toys’ highly sought after Shikabane Kaiju for a super-limited micro-run soon! Whilst information is scarce at present, the above pic would suggest that the run will consist of just 5 figures hand painted by Johan; 2 Flesh Eaters and 2 Toxic Eaters cast in a “slime” green soft vinyl, plus 1 chase Flesh Eater in clear.  Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has been working his magic on yet more of the Disarticulators’ Oozeball sofubi, proudly presenting the secret “Stealth Version” drop! Consisting of just 3 pieces this time around – 2 cast in the OG “Ooze-It” green and 1 in the NYCC exclusive “Moon Dust” silver – the trio have each been treated to a series of unique camo-style sprays and meticulous hand painted detailing courtesy of Malmstedt. After months of agonised waiting, Krotpong is proud to reveal that he’ll finally be unleashing his Homunculord sofubi minis into the wild this week! Featuring a total of 5 different finger puppet-style designs hand sculpted by the artist, each has its own unique – albeit stomach churning – feel, taking elements from right across pop culture, horror and neo-kaiju to form one of the most interesting set of figures we’ve seen in a long while. Produced in a kinkeshi (キン消し) colored soft Japanese vinyl, sweetly hand-painted by Krotpong and coming dressed in custom work clothes (we’re told to look to The Homunculord Story for the ever-unfolding details), the quintet will be touching down in the Krotpong store this Tuesday, March 24th for $65 per set plus shipping…

 Following the success of the “Jellyfish Dokugan” last year, BLObPUS has once again teamed up with amigurumi (knitting) artist Dol Roffo, this time taking on T9G’s Vatundoo for a special painted/crocheted release! Coming cast in a glow-in-the-dark soft vinyl and treated to red, gold and black sprays courtesy of BLObPUS, the huge figure comes complete with an amigurumi head piece that conceals all but the inset dolls eyes. Originally seeing a limited release at the Osaka Soft Expo over the weekend, the last piece from the run is currently being offered up via lottery for just 13,500yen ($113) plus shipping. Standing at a monstrous 13” tall and coming with articulation in the tail and head, the highly sought after “idol monster” has been produced in a gorgeous silver glitter infused vinyl this time around, with “Alpha” featuring black and pink sprays whilst “Beta” remains unpainted. Originally teased way back in November of last year, the much anticipated “Run the Jewels x TMNT” resin figure from new bootleg rap imprint Trap Toys will finally be up for grabs later on today (3/23)!  A loving homage to El-P and Killer Mike’s new hip hop outfit RTJ, the hulking, 5″ tall figure has been kit-bashed and re-sculpted from the rare TMNT Krang Android Body to resemble the duo, coming recast in resin and treated to a black/turquoise paint app that reflects the artwork from duo’s self-titled first album. Limited to an edition of 50 – each coming packed on a card backer with artwork from Worthy Enemies, the Run the Jewels x TMNT figure will be available right here at Noon Eastern time for just £50 plus shipping…

Medicom Toy have just revealed that the third version of their epic “snotBlower” collaboration with PUSHEAD, the Sync. exclusive “bloodwipe” edition! Designed by PUSHEAD and produced by Medicom, the stunning 10” figure features multiple points of articulation, coming cast in a mix of ABS, PVC and soft vinyl and given a blood-soaked mix of red, black and ivory washes for this release. Making it’s way into the Sync. store alongside a number of Project1/6 direct stores next Saturday, March 28th at an undisclosed time, the “bloodwipe” snotBlower will set you back a little more than previous releases, coming in at 15,984yen ($133) plus shipping…

 With the winners of the recent “Banana” Koningu lottery having just been informed, Monkey3000 over at Ummikko has just revealed that yet another 2 micro-runs of the figure will be touching down in-store today for all of those that missed out! Featuring a “Green Oxidised Copper” version that has been treated to a stunning weathered copper wash on black vinyl, this is to be joined by “Black/Gold”, featuring black and gold sprays over a bright red vinyl. Touching down in super-limited quantities on the Ummikko store at 5pm CET today (3/22), both versions have been priced at just $50 each plus shipping…

MAN-E-NEWS// DeathCat Toys’ “Elder Demons” finished wax protos revealed…

 Having seen instant sell-out success with their first run in keshi, and with another already on the way, DeathCat Toys’ Elder Demons are finally set to make their debut in soft vinyl soon! Designed by DeathCat’s Johan Ulrich and sculpted by KtoKto, the pair – Oni Mira and the Red Pharaoh – have been heavily inspired by Bikkuriman and the classic Ma-Ba Zombies toy line, sculpted in-scale at around 2.75″ tall and coming with a split torso, capped bottom design. Pictured here as finished wax protos, we should hopefully see these guys in sofubi-form at some point over the next couple of months. Stay tuned for more updates as soon as we have them!

 Mark Nagata over at Max Toy Co has just unveiled a whole slew of exclusives they’ll have up for grabs at their booth at the Osaka Soft Expo this weekend! Featuring a ton of new colorways and limited editions across both Max Toy and Monster Boogie lines, highlights include a new marbled Kaiju Zanga, “Neo Guts” Negora, a Pikachu-inspired Nyagira Tora and of course, the adorable PicoPico-sculpted Ringo Raccoon. Going on sale at the event between 11am-4pm this Sunday, March 22nd, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that any leftovers hit the Max Toy store soon after…

 Mirock Toy have just unveiled their latest release currently available for overseas order, the “Golden Bomber” sets! First up, we have the Dr Mirock collection… Once again coming with a total of 6 different figures – featuring mixed-part configurations from the original Dr Mirock series, the Dr Mirock Totem and Mecha Chibira-kun set – each have been painted up in a gorgeous mix of gold, metallic green and blue on black vinyl, coming in at $175 all-in. Next, we have the OG-AT / Kuramahoushi set. Featuring the gun totting Kuramahoushi alongside a mash-up of the OG-AT with the Dr Mirock “Santenou” head, the pair have been treated to a similar metallic paint app on black vinyl for $95. Teased here a few weeks back, we can now reveal that UME Toys’ long lost “KinTiki” H.U.S.T.L.E mini figure will finally be receiving it’s first release next week! Originally created alongside fellow H.U.S.T.L.E design Martin Hairybottom for ToyCon ’13, the custom bootleg M.U.S.C.L.E – kit-bashed and re-sculpted by UME’s Richard Page based on his classic Tiki designs – recently resurfaced at the Disart ToyLabs studio amongst a few other neglected figures that’ll be seeing the light of day later in the year. Produced by our very own Tru:Tek in a multitude of different colored UV resistant rubber, KinTiki will be touching down in the Man-E-Toys store next Thursday, March 26th at 9pm London time alongside a few other soon-to-be-revealed surprises for just $12 plus shipping…

MAN-E-NEWS// The Osaka Soft Expo exclusive “Bunny-Bear Fighter” sofubi micros from Rampage Toys x Makoto Hidaka…

  Originally making it’s debut back in September last year, Makoto Hidaka’s Bunny-Bear Fighter sofubi micro is finally set to return this weekend for the Osaka Soft Expo! Based on the Japanese illustrator’s recurring character of the same name, the 2” tall figure has been hand sculpted and produced by Rampage Toys’ Jon Malmstedt. Cast in a bright pink soft vinyl and treated to 2 alternative paint apps in a mix of flesh, orange, black and light blue sprays – as well as some of the smallest hand painted teeth we’ve ever seen! – the limited batch of 10 figures will be available alongside the previously posted Ooozeballs, Salary UU and Rotten-X’s at the Rampage Toys booth this Sunday, March 22nd. Here’s hoping a few leftovers make it to the Rampage online store soon after!

MAN-E-NEWS// Uncut’s Splatter Retsuden “Phase 2” revealed…

 Having made it’s debut at the Zoomoth Wonderfestival booth earlier in the year, Uncut‘s debut keshi “Splatter Retsuden” (Boropushi) is set to return for an all-new wave of colorways soon! Inspired by cult horror flick The Burning’s lead protagonist “Cropsey”, the oversized mini figure has been hand sculpted by the artist based on his original Bikkuriman-style sticker design, this time around coming cast in choice of black (Darkness), purple (Zombie) and orange (Burning) colored rubber. Due to be making an appearance alongside a second version of the Splatter Retsuden sticker at some point in early April, be sure to keep a close eye on the Kotobuki Man/Uncut Instagram feed right here for full release details soon…
