Hot on the heels of the previously posted “Black” and “Rose” editions, Uamou‘s Bastard sofubi mini receives yet another colored release this week in a gorgeous “Dark Raspberry” vinyl! Standing at around 2.75″ tall and coming with articulation in the neck, the little guy is once again being offered up blank for just 1,800yen ($17) or with a painted mouth for 2,000yen ($19). Currently available to purchase through Uamou’s Atelier shop in Tokyo, overseas customers will be glad to know that the figure will also be up for grabs through the online store very soon…

Debuting at Designer Con ’14 a couple of weeks back, Skinner’s latest sofubi, Morgogg “The Whispering Prince” and Ogos “Eye of the World” have finally been slated for an online release soon! Taking on a more traditional kaiju aesthetic than both Sextopigon and Lolgolth Gnazgoroth, the large-size kaiju has been designed by Skinner with sculpting duties once again handed over to the hugely talented David Arshawsky– the original sculptor of the ’88 TMNT line and Skinner’s recent Lurker minis – with both figures featuring the same body with different heads and matching club accessories. Produced in a “wax” green soft vinyl by none other than Velocitron in Japan, the pair are due to be offered up unpainted for $175 each or just $300 for the set. Originally previewing at SDCC ’14 back in July as part of the special “Mystery Egg” release, Super7 are proud to reveal that the second series of Alien ReAction Figures is finally here! Following the hit first wave of classic designs, the line continues with 4 more additions; Ripley in Spacesuit, Kane with Facehugger, Kane with Chestburster and Metallic Alien; featuring a mix of repurposed sculpts from the first run as well some all-new designs. Produced by Funko in a plastic that is said to be a lot more sturdy and hard wearing than the recent wave of ReAction releases, each of the 4 PVC figures come housed on an authentic blistered card back for just $9.99 each. It’s been a while since we last featured one of ManOrMonster? Studios‘ One-Off Wednesday releases, largely due to them selling out before we can get a post up, but this week’s was simply just too good to ignore… the awesome “Beast” Back Alley Brawler! An ingenious homage to Street Fighter’s green skinned mutant Blanka – more accurately, his 3.75″ GI Joe action figure interpretation – the one-off custom piece has been kit-bashed and re-sculpted from a variety of different vintage toys including Thundercats’ Mumm Ra and MOTU’s Hordak. Standing at around 5.75″ tall and featuring 4 points of WoW compatible articulation, the hand painted figure comes bagged with a custom header card for just $75 plus shipping. Richard Page over at UME Toys has very kindly informed us that his collaborative figure with illustrator Jonathan Edwards – the mischievous Poblin – is now up for auction via eBay! Designed by Jonathan and sculpted/produced by Richard, the solid resin figure stands at around 6.5″ tall, sporting an array of washes and brushwork in a mix of red, grey, black and white acrylics. Originally created as a limited edition of 10 figures for the recent International Comic Arts Festival, the last remaining piece can be found right here on the auction site with a starting bid of just £60 plus shipping. Never to be released again in this “OG” colorway, interested parties are going to need to head over and place their bid before close on November 28th to be in with a chance of bagging the figure…

Super7 are proud to reveal that their loveable mascot Mummy Boy is set to return this week in an all-new colorway! After taking a nice long nap in his sarcophagus, the mid-sized Mummy emerges from his slumber with old dusty bandages cast in ivory vinyl, coming with tan and white sprays on top of a brown rub treatment and finished with bright red accents. Joining Mummy Boy, the guys also have a new edition of Le Merde’s professional tennis playing vampire, Hollis Turd. Produced in a spooky glow-in-the-dark vinyl with a soft green spray, plus red, white, black, olive and blue details, the mini-sized Hollis will be joining Mummy Boy in the Super7 store at Noon PST this Thursday, November 20th, priced at $35 and $50 each respectively…

The guys behind low brow art blog Streets of Beige have just announced the launch of their new bootleg rap toy imprint, Trap Toys! Unofficially kicking things off with their Bernard Rollins collaboration “Action Figure Bronson” at Plastik Schmack back in September, the figure unfortunately received a cease and desist soon after show, leaving the awesome pictured Run the Jewels x TMNT piece to spearhead the new company instead. A loving homage to El-P and Killer Mike’s new hip hop outfit RTJ, the hulking, 11″ tall figure has been kit-bashed and re-sculpted from the rare TMNT Krang Android Body to resemble the duo, coming recast in resin and treated to a black/turquoise paint app that reflects the artwork from duo’s self-titled first album. Japanese artist Aya Kakeda has teamed up with Tomenosuke for the release of her first ever sofubi, the adorable Microbus! Standing at around 6.5″ tall, the gorgeous wheeled figure features a unique baby toy-inspired design, featuring fully working wheels on the base and 5 fully detachable and interchangeable micros riding on the back. Debuting in an unpainted clear pink “To the Mystic Forest” colorway that’s been limited to just 30 pieces, the unique looking figure is currently available via preorder through the Tomenosuke store right here, priced at 11,500yen ($99) plus shipping… Here’s hoping for a fully painted edition soon!

The guys over at Uamou are proud to reveal that they’ve teamed up with the Indonesia-based Odette Headpieces for a special run of “Love Uamou” figures! Similar to the previous “Mariage” release, the set features 2 3″ Uamou minis produced in a white soft vinyl, but whilst the top hat and bow tie wearing male remains the same, the female’s tiara has been replaced by a wonderfully ornate, hand made head piece from Odette. Having recently been revealed at Design Fiesta 40, Splurrt‘s Cinema Monster will be seeing its first release this weekend in the pictured “Alpha” colorway! Marking the debut of the artist’s new imprint Secretoy, the awesome 12″ tall kaiju has been heavily inspired by the golden age of monster flicks, including both Ray Harryhausen’s classic Cyclops and the 2-headed “Galligantua” that graces the iconic cover of 1968′s Famous Monsters of Filmland yearbook. Produced in a green soft vinyl with a mix of vintage inspired black, brown and dark green sprays, this “Alpha” version is set to come with a matching Greek column omake that can be placed in either of the figure’s clenching hands. Having seen sell-out releases at both NYCC and Designer Con over the past month, Joe Truck Kasher over at Snatchpunch Creature Cartel is proud to reveal that his debut sofubi, the queen of gross known as Bostyrant, will be seeing an exclusive run through Medicom Toy soon! Designed by Joe, sculpted by Grizlli Atom aka GNOSIS and produced by Velocitron, the mid size, 4-part soft vinyl figure comes brimming with gruesome details, including multiple oozing eyes, gaping, stitched flesh and four putrid, witch-like udders- all sprayed up in a stunning multi-metallic paint app conceived by Nebulon5. Set for release at some point in early 2015, we’ll be keeping our ears to the ground for more info on the release soon…

With KtoKto currently sculpting DeathCat Toys‘ “Magic of the Void” series for Toy Art Gallery, owner Johan Ulrich has revealed that he will be returning the favour by painting a run of the artist’s Kaibutsu (Monster) Series mini figures! Featuring all 3 designs from the first wave; hopping vampire “Jiangshi”, horned cyclops “Scream”, and tombed mummy “Tutankhamun”, the 2.5″ tall finger puppet style figures have been produced in a black soft vinyl this time around with paint application still to be revealed. Due to touch down in the DeathCat Toys store at some point in the near future, we’ll be bringing you guys the full lowdown as soon as we hear anything…

Debuting at both Design Fiesta 40 and DCon ’14 last week, Uky Daydreamer‘s Deku the Buster is now finally up for grabs in their online store! Standing at around 4.7″ – around twice the size of Uky’s usual mini output – and coming with 3 points of articulation plus removable helmet, the Japanese astronaut has been treated to a life-like mix of red, cream and black sprays, washes and dry-brushed weathered detailing. Mike Sutfin has revealed that he will be finally retiring his Battle Rat figure with one last release, proudly presenting the “Zoetic” edition! Featuring a complex paint application including black rub, metallic sprays, and hand painted details, the 9″ tall blue vinyl figure comes complete with an additional MadBattleMan skull omake that can be detached from its chain and interchanged with the Battle Rat head.
