With last month’s effort selling out within a matter of seconds, Barry Allen aka Gorgoloid has readied yet another 2 Yamomark “Bazooka” customs for release in-store this week! Utilising the recently released blank “flesh” version as platform of choice, the 9″ tall soft vinyl figures have been treated to a number of Monster Kolor multi-sprays in Gorgoloid’s signature neon-pastel palette. Coming signed by the artist, the pair of one-off customs will be touching down in the Gorgoloid store this Friday, June 20th at 6pm PST for just $120 each plus shipping…

Brian Bunting over at The Galaxy People has just revealed that a micro-run of Sensorbats will be up for grabs in-store at 8pm EST tonight (06/17)! Standing at around 4.5″ tall, the 2-part sofubi figures have been cast in a white vinyl this time around, coming with a stunning mix of metallic purple, turquoise and black fades. Limited to an edition of just 4 pieces, the Sensorbats will be available right here for $25 each plus shipping…

With last year’s “Void Man” collaboration with TheMarkUltra proving a huge success, legendary illustrator Scarecrow Oven returns with his first ever solo custom bootleg release, an action figure rendition of his reoccurring GLORG character! Kit-bashed and re-sculpted from a number of different vintage toys and coming with a reduced version of the ever popular GLORG relief-sculpt head (check the original right here), the 3.75″ figure has been cast in resin and hand painted in the artist’s signature palette of black, silver, neon blue and pink. Making it’s debut as a limited, card-backed run of 5 at Heroes Con this weekend, expect details of a full release soon after…

MAN-E-NEWS// The Sister Mayo sofubi micros from Art Junkie x Rampage Toys…

Originally posted as a test shot way back in March, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just revealed that the Sister Mayo sofubi micro will finally be making its debut at the Karate Bravo event in Shibuya’s The Game this Saturday, June 21st! Designed and sculpted by Art Junkie based on his real-life martial arts expert sister, Mayo, the sub 2″ figure has been produced by Rampage in a number of different colourways for the event. To be sold via gacha, with a slew of both unpainted and painted versions up for grabs, we’re guessing the little guys will be up for grabs at around 500-1,000yen ($5-$10) each. Overseas collectors will be glad to know that Jon has a batch planned for the Rampage store at some point next week- so be sure to stay tuned for full release details as soon as we get ’em!

Nestled amongst a slew of vinyl and resin projects planned for the coming months, Grizlli Atom aka Gnosis has just revealed yet another must-have series in the works, the Space Babies! An ingenious hybrid of Kewpies and the iconic vintage Ooze-It doll, the mini 2″ tall figures have been teased with 3 different head sculpts so far- a standard Cosmos Alien, as well as designs based on both original and Japanese bootleg Stretch Monster dolls. Stay tuned for more news on this awesome set of figures as soon as we hear anything…

Seeing the return of the Matt Doughty/Lamour Supreme designed Zombie Pheyden in an eye-catching “Hot Pink”, the 2″ undead Glyos is joined by the third round of George Gaspar’s curious looking Broctal creation, coming in at a micro 1.5″ of “Wild Cherry” coloured PVC. Originally due to be posted on Friday 13th (a certain Scary Larry held up the proceedings on our end!), we can now finally bring you this teaser for the next release from Jack’s Attic, “Crystal Lake Prom”… Whilst info is still pretty thin on the ground at the moment, we’re guessing the Jason Voorhees inspired bootleg will be in a similar vein to last year’s “Weekend at the Lake” figure, depicting the hockey-masked serial killer on another of his rare days off! Dropping in the Jack’s Attic store on Friday, June 27th, expect the full lowdown as we get nearer to the release…

Proving to be one of his most popular creations to date, Peter Kato has bowed to the pressure of fans with another run of Bedtime Bunnies! Joining a restock of the OG White and Pink versions, the release will see the arrival of an all-new colourway, coming cast in a deep orange resin with contrasting grey slippers. Available in 2 different sizes limited to just 10 of each, a medium at 3″ tall for $20 and a 2.5″ mini for $12, the latest wave of Bedtime Bunnies will be touching down in the Peter Kato store this Thursday, June 19th at Midnight EST…

But that’s not all! Whilst unfortunately not a store release, Peter proudly presents his piece for the upcoming Uglycon 2014, the Boss Bat! A homage to both David Horvath’s IceBat (which will be turning 10 this year) and the hosting gallery, Giant Robot‘s mascot, the little guy was 100% originally sculpted by Peter, coming cast in resin and mounted on a wooden base. With the AshMadeThis exclusive “Madball of Death” proving to be a huge sucess at last year’s Cardiff Con, the legendary tattoo artist will once again be teaming up with Tru:Tek of Disarticulators off-shoot, the Disart ToyLabs, for an all-new collaboration this July! Having taken a break for the past few months to make way for a whole lsew of new figures, Barry Allen aka Gorgoloid is proud to reveal that Kaiju Rhaal is finally back for a fifth wave! Standing at around 5″ of solid cast resin, the folklore/neo kaiju inspired beast has once again been limited to 4 one-off pieces, each coming coloured in a multitude of marbled Monster Kolor dyes. Finished with a mix of hand brushed detailing and a protective clear coat, the figures will be touching down in the Gorgoloid store today (6/13) at 6pm Pacific time, priced at $85 a piece…

MAN-E-NEWS// The “Grizzle” Evil Head resin figure from Joe Whiteford…

Originally revealed back in April, Joe Whiteford is proud to reveal that the first figure in his ongoing “Evil Head” series, the abominable Grizzle, is now up for grabs! A crazy infusion of all things 80’s (and gross!), including Weird Balls, He-Man and cult horror, the gruesome 5.5″ tall beast has been originally sculpted by the artist (save for the Grizzlor parts), coming cast in resin and finished in the artist’s unmistakeable mix of earthy colours, layered washes and a ton of fake fur. Whilst the first round of one-offs and limited runs have already sold out since their release just yesterday, Joe has just loaded the “Original Variant” edition for all those that missed out. Limited to a run of 16 (of which only 12 will be made available), this version has been painted in a Greyskull/Mumm Ra inspired greyish-green, coming packed with 2 custom collector cards playing homage to both Weird Balls and MOTU. Priced at $69 each plus shipping, the OG Grizzle’s can be found in the artist’s store right here… The first in a series of 4-5 figures planned, stay tuned for news on the next addition soon!

Standing at around 8″ tall and coming with 3 points of articulation, the figure has been cast in a black soft vinyl this time around, coming in a contrasting mix of firey gold/red and deep metallic blue sprays. MAN-E-NEWS// Custom bootleg Madball figures from Gnosis x Monster Island…

Grizlli Atom aka Gnosis and Monster Island have teamed up for a round of custom bootleg Madball figures! Kit-bashed by Grizli, the fully articulated, 5″ tall figures feature the body of the vintage “Wolf Breath” Head Popper alongside Giraprendi’s recent “Fang Thang” water squirter, coming with a ton of additional sculpted detail including a new ruffled neck and fixed axe accessory. Currently undergoing production courtesy of Monster Island, we’re told the first batch will be touching down in his store as early as tomorrow- so be sure to check back for the full scoop on the possible Friday 13th release as soon as we get it!

UPDATE// Whilst we still can’t confirm any solid release details for tonight’s bootleg Madball release in the Monster Island store, we have been treated to one of the many unique paint apps that will be up for grabs! Treated to a mix of neon and brown Mad Ape Ninja sprays, detail hugging black washes and a hi gloss clear coat, expect the little guy alongside a whole host of other new creations in the MI store right here later on today (6/13)…

MAN-E-NEWS// The Scum Hunter 3 sofubi from Star Case…

Star Case have revealed that their Boba Fett inspired Star Convoy sofubi, Scum Hunter, will be returning for a third edition later this month! Whilst we’re still having trouble working out exactly what the release will entail, it appears the figure will be offered up in a similar garage-kit fashion as most SC figures eventually see, coming cast in a blank white vinyl and packaged unassembled in an authentic card box. Due to be touching down in the Star Case store for a limited period starting Friday, June 20th, keep a close eye on their site for the full lowdown soon… But that’s not all! Shrouded in even more mystery than Scum Hunter 3, Star Case have also teased an upcoming, fully licensed Astroboy Star Convoy figure. Whilst no images are available at present (just the logos pictured below), you can be sure that as soon as we find anything, you guys will be the first to know…

MAN-E-NEWS// Seymour Art’s “Dodeca” sculpture for Clutter Gallery’s Tenebrous Show…

Joining the previously posted resin figures from Tokyo Jesus, Peter Kelk aka Seymour Art is the latest artist to reveal his piece for Clutter ‘s upcoming sculptural group show “Tenebrous”, the Dodeca! Standing at a lofty 15.7″ tall, the exquisite, one-of-a-kind piece was sculpted by the artist using a mixture of Apoxie and polymer clay, featuring fully removable, spring mounted figure nestled inside the maw of a wonderfully detailed aquatic beast. Hand painted and airbrushed by the artist is his unique neo-traditional inspired palette, the sculpture has been finished with a subtle mix of spot satin and hi gloss coats.

News on the S.U.C.K.L.E front has died down since the barrage of exclusive colourways released earlier in the year, but that’s about to change, as DKE Toys and The Sucklord have revealed that a second series is already in the works and will be coming to Kickstarter soon! Whilst solid details on the project are still to be confirmed, the guys have been able to reveal one work in progress proto so far, Sucklord’s DJ partner-in-crime, Crystal Pharoah. Sculpted by George Gaspar, the 2″ figure is likely to be joined by another 4 new sculpts, as well as the original series’ 5 unreleased KS exclusives, to form the final line-up. Stay tuned for more news as soon as we hear anything!

Inspired by the cult movie of the same name, the kit-bashed, non-articulated figure has been cast in resin, coming with super-tight, factory style sprays and hand painted detailing to resemble the iconic mind controlling aliens.
