Hiramoto Kiaju over at Cojica Toys has just revealed that Monoclon will be invading ToyCon UK next week in an all-new exclusive colorway! Featuring the figure’s standard flesh soft vinyl base, the stunning vintage style dino has been sprayed in white with subtle brown lowlights and hand painted detailing. Due to be going on sale at the Rampage Toys x Disarticulators booth (#16) alongside a gargantuan selection of kaiju, sofubi and keshi, pricing and edition size is still to be confirmed…
Getting into the spirit of April Fools, the guys over at the PBKs collective proudly present the first release in their on-going line of playable art toys, the NO GUTS, NO GLORY slingshot! Modelled on a rather macabre looking severed hand, the 2 pronged catapult has been hand sculpt and cast in resin, coming in at a pocket friendly 4.7″ in length. Available in two different colorways for this first drop, “Mr Invisible” (clear) or “Orang Minyak*” (black), the slingshots come bagged with a heavy duty rubber band and custom header for just $19.90 plus shipping. *Orang Minyak is a supernatural creature from Asian folklore, supposedly covered from head to toe in oil. Its favorite activities include sneaking around late at night, pillaging and ravishing.
With ToyCon UK little over a week away now, Comet Debris‘s Koji Harmon has begun to officially reveal the selection of exclusives he’ll be bringing along to the event- the first coming in the form of this gorgeous “Early Bird” edition Sametan! Cast in a GID soft vinyl, the 4″ tall figure comes with purple and pink sprays with gold hand painted detailing. Healeymade has just revealed that his Ghostie mini figure will be returning today for a special “April Fools” edition! Originally debuting at NYCC back in October, the hilarious Dumb Donald/Pac Man mash up has been resurrected in a hand cast clear resin, this time around coming with an absolutely stunning factory-style paint job. Dropping in the Healeymade store at 3pm EST, expect the super-limited run to come in at around $40-$50 each (TBC) plus shipping…
Kyle Kirwan is proud to present the latest additions to the ever-growing Mudcat universe, the creepy Shadowmen of Ba’Renard! Coming in at a mighty 6″ tall, the haunting 3 legged beasts have been hand cast in resin, coming with fully poseable, wire embedded arms. Bob Conge aka Plaseebo kindly shares details on his entry for the upcoming Custom Behemoth Show at the Concrete Gallery in Amsterdam… With Hell Toys’ incredible 12″ tall Behemoth figure the platform of choice, the 1.1kg of solid resin has been hand painted by Plaseebo in a mix of flat and metallic Monster Kolor sprays, coming complete with a number of additional ornaments, leather pouches and twine to finish off the amazing piece. With the show opening it’s doors at the gallery on Tuesday, April 4th, expect details with regards to online sales to follow soon after…
Teased here last week, Peter Kato has just revealed that his latest resin creations, the Bedtime Bunnies, will be touching down in-store later this week! Inspired by a recent study into dream influenced illustration, the adorable little guys have been hand sculpt and cast by Peter, with 2 different sizes to choose from; the “Basic” Bunnie, standing at 3″ and coming in at $20 each, and the “Mini” bunnies that are 2.5″ at just $12. Coming in an assortment of mixed Sakura cherryblossom pinks and whites, the limited first run will be touching down in the Peter Kato store this Thursday, April 3rd… Be sure not to sleep on these as they most certainly won’t be around for long!
After a brief hiatus from the scene, custom keshi wonder duo Nama Niku and Eric Nilla are back with quite possibly their greatest mini figure yet, the incredible Pachi Man! A loving tribute to knock off gumball machine toys, the little guy has been kit-bashed by Nama from a variety of vintage keshi figures, coming complete with a fully removable gacha capsule head with micro Claw nestled inside, a custom penny wrestling belt and a miniaturised quarter mounted on the back! Recently posted on IG with the tagline “Coming soon!”, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that Pachi Man makes an appearance in the Nilla store at some point over the coming weeks…
Secret Base have teamed up with Popaganda‘s Ron English for the latest round of Supersized Me sofubi! The first of 4 planned releases that feature an all-new internal skeleton sculpt, the 6.5″ tall figure has been cast up in a clear soft vinyl, with masked yellow and red sprays that leave just the black-rubbed skull visible. Opening the doors to their new Brooklyn based store last week, the guys over at apparel brand Scumbags & Superstars have wasted no time in securing a whole slew of toy exclusives, the first to be revealed coming in the form of Purple Toys‘ Fly Guy! Whilst news on the release remains scarce at present, it would appear that the 9″ figures have been cast up in a black vinyl for the run, replete with a mix of metallic green, gold and silver sprays. Our good friend Lee Burbridge over at Bigmantoys is proud to present the Alpha Wave of his latest resin mini figure series, Burning Chop! Inspired by cult Sega Master System brawler Pro Wrestling, the 3″ tall protagonists have been hand sculpt and cast in resin by Lee, each featuring an impressive 11 fully interchangeable, Glyos compatible joints. Seeing a few new additions since the debut release a few weeks back, including a cameo from Zectron’s Hare head, a new “Chicken Mask” design and alternative arm sculpts, the huge selection of figures will be touching down in the Bigmantoys store on Saturday, April 5th priced at $35 each plus shipping. Joining a whole host of other figures that are set to drop during the build up to Hysteric Mini‘s 25th Anniversary celebrations, Secret Base have teamed up with the legendary Japanese apparel brand for the release of the “Only One” Classic Mini Doll! Featuring the iconic “Mini” character realised as a mini soft vinyl figure, the real draw to the release is that each and every doll will be a unique one-off- with the paint scheme decided by you! Currently slated for a release at the SB Harajuku store this Sunday, March 30th, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that these make it online sometime soon…

Whilst we rarely feature privately commissioned customs here on Man-E-Toys, when we found out that Topheroy had taken on one of our favourite Skull Head Butt figures, the awesome Robo Kong, we simply couldn’t ignore! Taking on the Robot Monster inspired kaiju with flare, Toph has opted for a more parred back colour scheme than usual, swapping out the rainbow Monster Kolor fades for a gorgeous metallic grape and gold with subtle black lowlights. Standing at a tiny 35mm tall, the little guys have been individually 3D printed (not resin cast), coming in a highly durable, lo-res ABS plastic.
