Following the success of his debut sofubi release, The Old Ones, Gnosis aka Grizlli Atom has hit the clay once more as he reveals his latest sculpt, My Lil Grizlli! Heavily inspired by vintage Japanese squeaker toys, the artist has added a few personal touches, including his staple studded denim vest, grizzly beard and fringe. We’re still not too sure if the little guy will be heading into production any time soon, but with the resurgence of squeakers in sofubi recently, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for a fully working version before the year is out. Blurble has just revealed that the highly anticipated Ooze Club’s site is now live! Whilst we’re still unsure of what membership will entail exactly, Blurble’s recent IG posts would suggest that it’ll feature a ton of Ooze-It based art, buttons, stickers, and of course the debut of a certain bootleg homage- Oozy! Heavily inspired by the infamous Cosmos Alien gachapon figures, the 5″ tall figure was conceived by Blurble, digitally sculpted by iamscumbag and produced in resin by DuBose Art, with what appears to be a number of one-off colourways in the offing. We’re still in the dark in terms of an exact release/open date for the project, so whilst we await confirmation, be sure to keep a close eye on both Blurble’s IG feed and the newly opened Ooze Club site right here…

MAN-E-NEWS// The Unplugged resin sculptures from Mark Gmehling x Creo Design…
Creo Design have teamed up with artist Mark Gmehling for the release of their latest resin sculpture, Unplugged! Based on a digital print by Gmehling (pictured below), Creo were tasked with transforming the central character into a 25cm tall statue, with owner Chris Alexander hand sculpting and casting the piece in their unique PU resin. Gmehling kindly explains a little behind the project- “The unplugged sculptures and especially the print are inspired by my perception of society as are a lot of my works. The print shows ten unplugged’s doing this endless walk-cycle is a metaphor of the daily grind that never stops- The kind where you perceive life through a tunnel that only focuses on sustainable growth and profit maximization. The brain is unplugged, you are a zombie sleepwaking on autopilot.” Keeping in-line with the original art, the statue has been limited to just 10 pieces, coming in at 600euros ($821) plus shipping. MAN-E-XCLUSIVE// The Disarticulators’ Atomic Uchuujin keshi sculpt revealed…
As promised yesterday, we’re extremely happy to reveal The Disarticulators‘ latest keshi sculpt in full… the breathtaking Atomic Uchuujin! Inspired by banned Ultra 7 character Alien S’Pell (head over to Ultraman Wiki here to find out more), the little guy was designed and sculpted by Zectron, coming in at 2.5″ of pure irradiated menace. Currently in the hands of our very own Tru:Tek, the figure is due to be cast in a premium flexible rubber, with a number of different colourways planned over the coming months (including a deluxe UV edition for early March- more on that soon!). Making it’s debut as a Japan-only exclusive at Rampage Studios‘ “One Night Only” Keshi Party on Friday, February 7th, we’ll be bringing you guys the first test shots (plus the reveal of a special companion piece!) later in the week…
