It’s been a while since his last spotting, but Nama Niku‘s wayward alter-ego Whiskey Sasquatch returns just in time for the NNWA Keshi Event with his latest offering… Chibi Zilla the Kid! A micro-sized version of the ever popular Manzilla, the ‘squatch has kit-bashed the little guy from a variety of chibi and standard sized Kinnikuman, complete with a Godzilla head and custom “M” pants. Cast in a urethane rubber by none other than Eric Nilla, Chibi Zilla will be debuting at the Keshi Event via the humble Rampage gachapon machine- here’s hoping a few make it to the online store soon!

With the highly anticipated Pollen Kaiser group show just around the corner, Toy Art Gallery owner Gino Joukar reveals as piece that is sure to be making it’s debut at the event… Paul Kaiju‘s metal Mockbat! Featuring an all-new miniaturised design, the incredibly detailed piece has been cast in a white metal with silver plating, coming fully articulated with a hatch on his belly that opens up to reveal his innards. With exact details on the figure still forthcoming, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for more information as we get closer to the show later this month…

Eric Villanueva over at 1Shot Toys has been cooking up a whole host of projects over the past few months, so it came with great pleasure this week to find out that ALL of them will be available in one “Mega Drop” this Saturday, September 7th! Featuring a slew of original figures, glyos heads and customs, we bring you the full lowdown of what’ll be on offer in the 1Shot Toys store come launch time…

Clawmania// A collaboration with Clawfreak, this new custom series features recasts of the iconic M.U.S.C.L.E Claw from Eric, lavished with either paint or Monster Kolor dye by the mini figure customiser. Priced at $17 each, these will be sold individually (not bling bagged), so be sure to get in quick to bag your favourite!

War Pug Battle Beasts// Shrinking the original War Pug head down to mini figure size, Eric has cast up a batch of super-limited custom bootleg Battle Beasts! Cast in a mixture of semi-translucent GITD resins (with one UV chase!), the 2″ figures have been priced at $15 each.

War Pug Glyos Heads// Joining the custom Battle Beasts, Eric will also be unleashing the latest batch of normal-sized War Pug Glyos heads! Cast in a mix of pearl orange and pink resins, these will be available for $13 each.

Snack Attack: Sgt Angus// Following preview releases at both CT&TC and Wonder Festival, Snack Attack’s debut figure, Sgt Angus, finally makes his official debut! Sculpted by Eric and cast in a keshi-style rubber by our very own Tru:Tek, the figure will be available blind bag (in either flesh, orange or red/yellow) for just $15 each. Originally making an appearance as single figures at SDCC back in July, 2bit HACK has resurrected the Boot Punks for a special 2 pack release! A hilarious tribute to the French masters of House, Daft Punk, the pair have been booted from an undisclosed ‘suited’ action figure, coming with the obligatory Stormtrooper/Kaws mash-up helmets in the duo’s instantly recognisable gold and silver. Blister packed on one card this time around, the sets have been limited to just 10, priced at $60 plus shipping. Look out for the Boot Punk 2 pack on the 2bit HACK store today (9/4) from 10am PST onwards…

Entitled the “Crusaders of Hopelessness”, the new batch will be available via open preorder this time around, each coming in a beautifully weathered gun metal/yellow paint job complete with a clear green cast display base. Touching down in the Patrullax store for a 48 hour period starting this Saturday, September 7th at Noon PST, the Crusaders have been priced at just $60 each plus shipping…

Teased here amongst a whole host of other projects last week, Rich over at Mutant Vinyl Hardcore proudly presents the Flying Freak as a near finished sculpt! Due to be released alongside Splurrt and Paul Kaiju’s previously revealed Usir and Asbestora DX heads, the ingenious winged design features 2 hideous madball-esque faces that can be displayed in both front or back positions. With a little work still needing to be done on the wing detail, Rich has stated that we can expect a full reveal later this week… Keep track of the MVH Instagram feed here to check it first!

Originally created for the Yamashiroya vinyl exhibition over the weekend, Blobpus‘ latest King Raoh, the “Leopard Crest” edition, will be touching down on his website later today! Cast in a GID soft vinyl with blue, black, brown and pink sprays, the absolutely gorgeous beast stands at a lofty 26cm tall and 20cm wide, coming with 7 points of articulation. News on how the figure will be offered up is still forthcoming, so we suggest keeping an eye on the Blobpus shop and blog for more info later today. Mike Woods over at Falcon Toys has teamed up with Novelty Haus for an exclusive colourway of his latest Breaking Baddie, Cosmonaut! Inspired by his undying love for vintage Star Wars toys and the insanely popular AMC show, the kit-bashed 3.75″ figure has been cast in a clear resin, complete with stunning red/blue sprays and a hi-gloss finish. Limited to an edition of just 5 this time around, each Cosmonaut has been packed with a pair of cardboard 3D glasses and a 3D header for just $30 plus shipping. Taken from the cult film’s opening story “Father’s Day”, the misery undead patriarch Nathan Grantham has been kit-bashed and resculpted from a number of different vintage 3.75″ action figures, coming complete with an awesome decaying paint job and decapitated head/Father’s Day cake accessory. Swiftly following our reveal earlier in the week, David Healey has just announced that the first of his latest M.U.S.C.L.E/M.A.S.K mash-ups will be touching down in the Healeymade store next week! Ingeniously titled “Claude Lamano” (do your research into M.A.S.K and the Spanish language- you’ll get it!), the Claw custom will be making an appearance alongside a new version of the popular Heisenberg figure, both coming cast in an authentic flesh-toned resin. Full release details are still to be confirmed, but we’re guessing the pair will be up for grabs at the tail end of next week for around $25 each plus shipping. Joining the recently released Machete, Healeymade has teamed up with Geek Room for yet another fully licensed figure from the cult Rodriguez film… Lindsey Lohan’s Nun With A Gun! Sculpted by Mitch Martinez and cast by Healeymade in a translucent blue glitter resin, the toy has been limited to just 60 pieces, with an estimated price of around $90 each. Based on Rich UME’s one-off Soundwave sculpt created last year, the absolutely stunning tribute to Transformers consists of a whopping 13 different hand cast parts and 9 points of articulation.
