MAN-E-NEWS// The Desputo Face resin figure from Deladeso x Manny X…

Continuing his recent slew of collaborations, Manny X has teamed up with illustrator Deladeso for his latest resin figure, Desputo Face! Based on the artist’s smiley-inspired mascot, Manny reinterpreted the character as a drippy head that can be rather cleverly displayed in 2 different positions. Cast in resin, the 2″ figure is initially available in 2 hand painted colourways; a black/white and black/yellow. Hitting the Patrullax store today (August 23rd) at Noon PST via a 48 hour pre-order, each Desputo Face comes bagged with header card, pin and stickers for just $20 plus shipping…

MAN-E-NEWS// Usir custom micro run from Hellopike x Splurrt…

Whilst we impatiently wait for release details on the highly anticipated Cadaver Twins, Splurrt has just revealed something that’ll more than fill the gap for now… a custom painted run of Usirs by none other than Hellopike! Cast in a neon green vinyl, the stunning sofubi minis have been sprayed by the Skullbrain regular in a mix of neons and metallics, resulting in one of the figure’s tightest runs we’ve seen so far. No news on edition size or pricing on these, although we’re guessing regardless of the specifics, these won’t be hanging around long after their 1pm EST drop tomorrow (August 24th) in the Splurrt store…

MAN-E-NEWS// Max Toy Co’s latest Kaiju Negora preorder and the Kaiju Tank revealed…

Max Toy Co are proud to announce that the latest iteration of Konatsu’s ever popular Kaiju Negora is now up for pre-order! Cast in a white vinyl with beautiful tiger-inspired black, orange and pink sprays, each little kitty comes complete with gold, black, pink and white detailing, plus matching fish accessory. Up for grabs through the Max Toy store right here for the next week or so, Negora can be yours for just $45 plus shipping… Joining news of the preorder, Max Toy have also revealed quite possibly our most anticipated sofubi this year- the Kaiju Tank! Consisting of a main tank body, it would appear from the shots that turrets can be swapped out for both fully kitted out army Negora bodies and micro heads. Expect more news as soon as we hear anything!

MAN-E-NEWS// tkom3’s NecroKaiser for the TAG Pollen Kaiser Custom Show…

With Paul Kaiju and Toy Art Gallery‘s Pollen Kaiser Custom Show just a couple of weeks away, we thought we’d kick the reveals off with one of our favourites so far… the incredible NecroKaiser from none other than tkom3! Originally covered a few weeks back, the up and coming artist’s unmistakable style returns in spades for this piece, featuring a mesmerising mix of neon fades set against bold black, grey and white blocking. The pièce de résistance has got to be the included staff accessory though, coming completely resculpted in a similar vein to the recently featured ‘Doublethink’ figure- a super-creepy sunken face, sewn up eye lids and a glaring, bloodshot mind’s eye to top things off! MAN-E-NEWS// Shimomoku’s Lampu Kinokeshi sofubi at Lulubell Toys…

Lulubell Toys are proud to reveal that they’ve secured a limited batch of Shimomoku of Japan‘s latest sofubi mini, Lampu (Mischievous Fairy)! The latest figure in the ongoing Kinokeshi series, the adorable little guy stands at around 2.5″ tall, coming with 2 points of articulation in the shoulders. Available in either pink (complete with removable magnetic gas mask) or blue/green soft vinyl, the figure can be found on the Lulubell Toys store right here for just $22 and $18 respectively. Eastern collectors will be glad to know that limited supplies of both colourways are also available through Pop Soda and Marukaikai…

Barry Allen of the newly formed Gorgoloid studios proudly presents his latest resin monstrosity… the Rhaal! Inspired classic and neo-kaiju, folk lore, and contemporary social issues/monsters alike, the 5″ tall beast weighs in at an impressive 200 grams of hand cast, painted and clear coated resin. Initially limited to 4 one-off pieces; Poison Face, Sunburnt, Frost Gills and Swamp Born (pictured), each coming with their own unique backstory, the Rhaal are up for grabs on the Gorgoloid store right here for $85 each plus shipping…

MAN-E-NEWS// The Warlords of Wor mini figure protos from ManOrMonster? x HamFX…

Previewed here a few weeks back, ManOrMonster? Studios‘ Warlords of Wor are finally taking the leap into the world of mini figures! Featuring the previously revealed Clawbber alongside long-time adversary Bog-Nar, the pair have been given the super-deformed treatment courtesy of HamFX, coming digitally sculpted and 3D printed, with full resin production planned soon. We’ll be keeping a close eye on the project over the coming weeks, but to get your regular fill of MoM?, be sure to stay locked on the dedicated IG feed right here…

MAN-E-NEWS// Rampage Toys’ Gachapin Goblin micro sofubis revealed…

With the likes of Superfestival, NYCC, Design Fiesta and Dcon fast approaching, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has decided it’s about time to reveal his all-new line up of sofubi that’ll be making an appearance… presenting the Gachapin Goblin micros! Consisting of 7 1.5″-2″ tall Gachapon-ready figures, the little critters have been designed by Rampage Toys, Joseph Harmon, Walter Parenton (IV – Bobbybeast creator) and Art Junkie, with sculpting duties headed by Jon, Joseph Harmon, and AJ’s official prototyper. The first figures to be retooled and wax cast in-house at Rampage Studios, metal moulds for sofubi casting are currently being finalised for the first regular release at Superfestival on September 29th.

Those eager to secure an early set will be glad to know that a pre-order for unpainted black versions will be up on the store this Friday, August 23rd. Details are still hazy at the moment, but Jon has stated that the figures will be available for around $10 each, with special incentives for bagging the whole set, including discounts and the possibility of some blind-bag painted versions! With production on the previously featured Big Rad Wolf hitting a few delays, Meadowknight has found the time to complete yet another awesome mini figure sculpt… presenting the Alien Ghost Worm! Inspired by an unusual mix of Ghostbuster toys and Glo Worms, the creepy-yet-cute little guy stands at around 2″ tall and 1.5″ long. Due to come cast by none other than 1Shot Toys‘ Eric Villanueva in a multitude of resin colourways (with maybe even a few rubber variants from Tru:Tek to boot!), expect full release details soon. Hot off the heels of the Mini-Merc soft release last week (check it out here), Rich over at UME Toys has just revealed a companion fridge magnet! Perfect for keeping all of those to-do lists, notes and scribbles off the kitchen table, the adorable little guy has been hand sculpt and cast in resin, coming painted in the same Deadpool-inspired mix of red, black and white. MAN-E-NEWS// Warui Neko US First Edition Lottery from Kaiju Coup x Medicom Toy…

The mysterious Kaiju Coup comes with his latest collaboration with Medicom Toys, Warui Neko! Sidekick to Warui Inu, the gruesome looking beast’s First Edition has been cast in a jet black vinyl made in Japan, coming with yellow glass eye inserts and hand painted detailing by Kaiju Coup himself. Limited to an edition of 9 for this US release, Warui Neko will be offered up via the familiar lottery system for $180 shipped. Interested parties are going to need to send their name, address and e-mail address to kaijucoup@gmail.com before Thursday, August 22nd…

The multi-talented Mike Calboni is proud to present his first foray into the world of art toys, the MUSCULAR! Inspired by the beefed up aesthetic of the new BMX X6, the 15cm long resin muscle car (quite literally!) has been hand sculpt, cast and painted by Calboni, coming packed in a custom box with bag- that Mike tells us can be used for sunglasses! MAN-E-NEWS// The Kingdom action figure Kickstarter from Jason Bienvenu…

Creator of comic book “The Kingdom“, artist Jason Bienvenu is proud to announce that the miniseries is set to make the transition into the world of toys! Due to touch down on Kickstarter soon, Jason will be raising funds in order to produce two 5 inch scale action figure prototypes based on The Kingdom’s main protagonists, Pale and Barron Kah Lee. Each figure, digitally sculpted by Alvaro Ribeiro, will feature a static pose and weapon accessory, as well as packaging artwork, a bio card and battle dice for a “Primal Battle Game”. News as to how the figures will be produced are still to be revealed (we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for a hand cast resin run!), so be sure to look out for the full lowdown before the project goes live. Backstory//

“The Kingdom is a magical realm where animals have evolved in the absence of mankind. However as with humanity there are good and evil beings in this realm. The story begins in the midst of a civil war between “Apekind” that has ravaged the land and threatens to engulf the rest of the Animal Kingdom in its struggle for power and survival. Our hero, Pale, is a young ape armed with the ability to absorb his enemy’s life essence and powers. He sets out on a quest to liberate the kingdom from a tyrannical ruler!”

Originally teased as super-limited preview runs for both Wonder Festival and CT&TC last month, Elephantos: Keshi Edition is finally set for general release later today (08/16)! Marking the first collaboration between our very own Tru:Tek and the enigmatic turboPISTOLA, the 2″ tall mini figures have been cast in a wonderful, squishy rubber at The Disarticulators studios right here in merry ol’ England, with 3 colourways initially up for grabs; Flesh (ltd 10), Grey (ltd 5) and Neon Orange (ltd 5). Packaged in a resealable clamshell blister with full colour card back and 3″ die-cut vinyl sticker, Elephantos: Keshi Edition will be touching down in the turboPISTOLA store at 9pm EST for a very reasonable $25 plus shipping…

MAN-E-NEWS// The Death Match Namakeshi ‘NNWA Keshi Event’ exclusive…

As we revealed here yesterday, Nama Niku and the NNWA will be taking over Rampage Studios for a 3 day keshi event next month, bringing forth a whole host of exclusive figures, artwork and t-shirts from some of the indie mini figure scene’s finest. Well, the first of those exclusives was revealed last night, and it’s a biggie… presenting the debut of DEATH MATCH! Originally teased a few weeks back, the incredible follow-up to Top Rope has been co-sculpted by Nama Niku and Ironhaus, coming cast by none other than Eric Nilla. Packed with removable ropes and steel cage accessories, plus header art from Lucky Nakazawa, Death Match will see a strictly limited run of flesh/black variations for the event, with a general release planned for soon after… Stay tuned for more exclusive reveals soon, and be sure to check out our original post here for full details on the event!

After a brief hiatus, The Mark Ultra returns with 2 of his most popular releases, Intruder and U.L.T.R.A, in all-new, previously unreleased colourways! Kit-bashed from a mix of vintage GI Joe and Star Wars figures, the 3.75″ Intruder has been cast in a clear emerald green resin, whilst the 3 pack of M.U.S.C.L.E bootlegs have finally seen the light of day in their true colour, keshi-gom flesh! Whilst the Disarticulator Made2Order sale still rages on in the Man-E-Toys store, we thought we’d share a ‘tiny’ project we’ll be dropping soon after… presenting the Micro Critters! Utilising the insanely popular Crite-inspired sculpt from our very own Zectron, the little guy has been cast in a water-based shrinking material, resulting in a perfect copy, only half the size of the original! Fitted with mini keychains, the figures will be the first to come cast in our new rubber formula- so expect a flurry of clear, marble and solid colourways in the near future… The pictured prototypes will be making their way randomly into packages throughout the August Made2Order sale, so if you fancy your chances, head over to the store and bag something now!

Whilst slightly out of the realm of our usual posting, the latest release from premium Lego customisers Citizen Brick was simply too good to ignore… presenting the Superlab Playset! Following the continued success of their Breaking Bad inspired “Chemistry Enthusiast” figure, CB’s first ever fully fledged playset takes the concept one step further, accurately replicating Heisenberg’s meth lab to a tee in Lego form! Consisting of over 500 custom parts including the original bio-chem suit wearing White, 2 lab assistants (plus Pink-Man) and even Methylamine Wasp branded drums, the deluxe set is currently up for grabs directly through Citizen Brick right here for $250 plus shipping. Featuring awesome keshi displays from Nama Niku, Mokyukeshi, Rampage Toys and our very own Tru:Tek, these will be joined by exclusive releases (original sculpts only!) from Nama Niku x Ironhaus, Eric Nilla, the Disarticulators, plus Kinnikuman t-shirts and artwork from Tokyo’s very own Art Junkie! MAN-E-NEWS// Mechavirus’ Ammonaito sofubi sculpt revealed…

Judging by this recently posted pic on Instagram, it would appear that Mechavirus‘ sea-dwelling kaiju, the Ammonaito, is finally making the leap to sofubi! After countless resin customs and painted runs, the stunning creature has been completely re-tooled for the new medium, featuring a slightly upscaled body, tighter detailing and a much more dynamic pose. Due to be making it’s way over to Japan for production in the near future, we’ll be sure to update you guys as soon as we hear anything…
