With Rivet Wars: Eastern Front’s Q3 launch looming ever closer, creator Ted Terranova kindly shares pics of the latest vehicle to be finalised, the absolutely stunning Red Baron by-plane! Pictured here as a 3D test print, the intricately designed piece retains all of the original sculpt’s details, including the removable ‘peg’ pilot, triple tiered wings, and hilarious steam punk inspired chimneys. Just one of a whole swathe of ingeniously designed vehicles for the hotly anticipated tabletop game, we’ll be keeping you guys up to date on the progress of all of them over the coming months. The wait is almost over… Muscle Things’ highly anticipated Nitro Ball mini figures will finally be making their debut later this month! Featuring a slew of original designs 3D sculpted by MT’s Alec, the Madball inspired series is set to come cast in a special material almost 4 years in the making- a substance Alec has ominously dubbed “White Magic Rubber”. Featuring the same stretchy, firm-yet soft feel of the original AmToys balls, the various designs will be up for grabs in 2 different styles; the standard color Nitro, and an awesome glow-in-the-dark High Octane… Release details are still pretty thin on the ground at the moment, so we suggest keeping a close eye on the dedicated Muscle Tings thread here for more info closer to the drop…

MAN-E-NEWS// The Masked Man one-off custom sculpt from Hoakser…
It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from our buddy Hoakser, so it came with great pleasure today to find his latest toy project nestled in our inbox… the rather sweet looking Masked-Man one-off sculpt! Based on the graffiti cum toy artist’s signature character of the same name, the impressive piece has slowly taken form over the past few months, resulting in the fully standing, 22cm tall behemoth you see above. Sculpted on top of an un-named DIY art toy using air dry clay, the Masked Man has been given Hoakser’s familiar mix of dark acrylic washes and gruesome crimson splatters. Already making it’s way to a very lucky collector over in Canada, we suggest heading over to the Hoakser site here if you’re interested in commissioning a similar piece… Interested in checking out how the figure was put together? Hot off the heels of the Killer Krampuses we posted yesterday, Splurrt has just revealed a trifecta of customs from the mighty BLObPUS for the pair’s upcoming joint show at Rampage Studios this Friday… Featuring the legendary artist’s signature metallic sprays on top of GID soft vinyl, Splurrt’s Cadaver Kid and Usir, alongside Rampage’s Ugly Unicorn have all been treated to some of the best paint jobs we’ve seen to date- truly awesome work! We’re still not sure as to whether these are one-offs pieces, or if they’ll be up for grabs in micro runs (fingers crossed for the latter!), so be sure to stay tuned for the full lowdown after the show’s opening this Friday, July 5th. We’ve been told that the online sale will commence on Monday at 11am Japan time (10pm, Sunday Eastern), so we suggest setting your alarms now to avoid disappointment- believe us when we say, the Rampage store will be CARNAGE!

Following a stellar appearance at the Creature Feature show way back in April, Kenth Toy Works once again teams up with Toy Art Gallery for an exclusive version of his latest resin masterpiece, NOFUTURE… Standing at around 5” tall, the death metal inspired beast features a beautifully sculpted studded jacket, plus a removable goat skull that reveals a secret second head! Hand painted in a mix of black, red, silver and pearlescent bone, the TAG edition has been limited to just 15 pieces with a price tag of $70 plus shipping. Previewed here as a work-in-progress sculpt a few weeks back, Eric Nilla’s incredible Cythulhu has finally received its first test pull! The latest figure in the DTA nominated Universe of Violence series, the cyber/cthulhu hybrid has turned out even better than we’d hoped, featuring all of the detail of the original sculpt in super-flexible keshi form. Due to come packed alongside the pictured necronomicon-style book accessory, the Cythulhu will be touching down in the Nilla store with a wide variety of colour options in the very near future… Keep track of Eric’s IG feed here for full release details soon!

Kit-bashed from a vintage 3.75” astronaut figure, the skull-headed ghost of the stars has been hand cast in a number of different one-off colourways. Based on the infamous horned ‘baby snatcher’ taken from German folklore, the latest run has been cast in a bright green soft vinyl (with a few GID chases), featuring metallic purple and black sprays with yellow, red and white detailing from Jon. Expect to see these guys up in the Rampage Toys store this Saturday, July 6th at 11am Japan time (10pm Friday EST) for an undisclosed sum…

Soundwave810 over at Cassette Man Studios kindly shares details on his latest collaboration with Bah’Glenn Creations, the fully Glyos compatible Ston’emm mini figures! Designed and sculpted by Chris Negri with casting duties handed over to Soundwave810, a number of the figures will be debuting at next month’s Long Island Toy Show, including the pictured Crys’torg the Chronicler. Due to come in a number of different dyed and hand painted colourways, the guys have also been busy working on a full backstory for the series, with the addition of original artwork, figure stats and even collector numbers for that flat-out 80’s vibe we all know and love. Unfortunately, news on the general release is still thin on the ground at the moment, so we suggest keeping a close eye on both Soundwave810 and Bah’Glen‘s sites for more details soon!

After months in the works, NiStuff over at the 481 Universe is proud to announce his highly anticipated leap into the world of PVC toys, the awesome Outlander Glyos, is finally ready for public consumption! Due to touch down in the 481 store right here on Friday, July 5th, the initial drop is set to feature blue and light grey ‘swapped part’ runs, featuring full articulation plus the Glyos sytems first removable helmet… Alongside the figures, 481 will also be unveiling a story driven video to accompany the launch. Featuring the superior pixelling skills of Cpresti, these shorts, dubbed ‘Astrologs’, are due to accompany each and every Outlander drop, giving a little more depth and soul to the little guys… No news on a specific drop time or pricing as of yet, so we suggest keeping an eye on the 481 Universe blog here for the full lowdown closer to the launch.
MAN-E-NEWS// Radioactive Uppercut x DuBose Art’s Parasitic Human Condition mini series revealed…
As if the looming 8-Ball Kickstarter campaign wasn’t enough (touching down this coming Monday folks!), our buddy John Santagada over at Radioactive Uppercut has teamed up with Man-E-Toys regular DuBose Art for yet another all-new series… the Parasitic Human Condition! Featuring 5 gruesome designs from John representing desire, hunger, transition, loneliness and laziness, the creatures are due to be sculpted and produced by Jonathan DuBose, presumably in his signature, Monster Kolor dyed resin. We’ve been told that Transitus will be the first character out of the blocks, so be sure to stay tuned for a full reveal of him soon!
As one of the growing list of artists to contribute to the upcoming 8-Ball Kickstarter campaign, DuBose was also given the honour of customising one of the early resin castings. Giving the 4″ figure articulation through the use of neo-magnets, the piece was then given the full Monster Kolor workout, with vivid green and black sprays finished with a layer of hi-gloss. One of many customs to feature in the project’s numerous reward tiers, we’ll be giving you guys the full rundown of what will be on offer before the project goes live this coming Monday, July 1st…
MAN-E-NEWS// Ben Spencer’s Sharkastator for the Blue Colar Toy Show…
Ben Spencer of Galaxxor/Nerd City fame comes with the first of 2 pieces he’s created for Madknits‘ upcoming Blue Colar Toy Show, the incredible Sharkastator Galaxxor mash-up! Loosely inspired by the ‘Killer Carp’ Battle Beast both in design and colour, the stunning piece features an amalgamation of Spencer’s signature Galaxxor and Lucha Shark figures to blinding effect. Cast in resin by the legendary Marty ‘Godbeast’ Hansen, the one-off 5.5″ toy has been hand painted in the carp’s familiar red and white, complete with yellow chest embellishment. Priced at just $90, Sharkastator will be up for grabs alongside another still-to-be-revealed piece at the show’s opening on July 13th at the Hope Artiste Village in Pawtucket, RI.
