
Following our look at the latest version of Tin Bear Teacher just a few days back, Algangu has unveiled yet another exclusive he’ll be unleashing at Wonderfestival Winter 2016 this weekend, Albino Zoo’s “Second Stage” Unico! Based on Osamu Tezuka’s classic manga of the same name, the officially licensed mini has been produced in a pastel blue soft vinyl this time around, coming with similarly soft pink and light brown sprays with black detailing. Going on sale at Algangu’s WF booth (5-10-12) this coming Sunday, February 7th, pricing for the little guy is still to be confirmed…














“Setsubun is the day before the beginning of Spring and it means literally “Seasonal Division”. Spring Setsubun is accompanied by a special ritual to cleanse away all the evil of the former year and drive away disease-bringing evil spirits for the year to come. This special ritual is called “Mamemaki” which means literally “Bean Scattering”. The ritual is usually performed by the male head of the household. Roasted soybeans are thrown either out the door or at a member of the family wearing an Oni (demon or ogre) mask, while the people say ‘Demons out! Luck come in!’ and slam the door…”
